Auto-Expiring bookmarks

Proposal : Bookmarks the delete themselves after "x" amount of time

I have seen a few threads about the 13000 bookmark limit and think "Wow, I will never need that many !!"

After a few months of bookmarking wrecks and Sig sites ( normally I delete them when finished ) they do add up.

Have another setting on the bookmark creation time with a Time to Live setting in days or never. This way if I am exploring a wormhole and bookmark several things I can set them to expire in 2 days so after the hole is closed and I am back home they delete themselves automatically if I forget to.

Bonus points:

Make a dialogue for auto-deleted book marks that pops up when you log in to confirm all the book marks to be removed. This can be set to "Never show again" as well.

Just an idea, have not seen it on here before ( and yes, I did a search ) It may help the heavy bookmark users.

This is a decent idea, although I honestly would be annoyed if my travel bookmarks expired because of my negligence.

Really, what I want is a more efficient method to "save bookmark sets" by transfering them to cans and stuff. Or, more importantly, create a means to copy bookmarks from a can into my personal folders without removing/destroying the bookmark entities within the can.

Much progress has been made in the realm of bookmark storage and transfer tools, but it still has much room for improvement!

Just add a section to the bookmark creation window that let's you check/uncheck autoexpiry and alternatively, set a number of days to expire in.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.
