i love living in wh space, and i loved the sovreignty concept in null. so i figured why not add wh-like sov space? this wouldnt replace the current systems, it'd add new ones to find. instead of having all of the stargates and regions set in stone there's space where the borders are dynamic and keeping small can save you from having 2 clusters of sov both surrounded by people that hate you. in my head they would work something like this:

current wh space has no clusters of star systems, one day you have 4 wormholes connecting that you own and the next you have no way of getting to each other. my idea for sovereign wh space is constellations that have static wormholes connecting each other that you need to scan down, but the wormholes connecting to other constellations change every day like regular wormhole space does now. and it'd look like this (letter represents the constellation, then random numbers for the system)

it would also have 7-12 systems and not 4, im just trying to make a cheap example.

monday:
E039
|
A001 - A002 - A003
|
A004

|
B031

tuesday:
D031
|
A001 - A002 - A003
|

C041 - A004 - E103

the A### systems are always connected the same, but they connect to random systems from another constellation too. like on monday you have a connection to blues in the B### constellation and a connection to reds in the E### systems. you attack the reds and move safely back into to your regular sov going on with your daily activities. then on tuesday you have another connection to E### and now their blues in D### and C###. three things could happen adding advantages from wormholes that you cant find in null
a) attack you and move to their space when they're done like you did yesterday, or
b) you lower the mass of the connecting wormholes, trap a portion of their fleet, and get killmails, or
c) collapse one of the wormholes and try to get one that connects you to some blues.

since concord has no influence in wormhole space, regular TCUs will not work for claiming sovereignty here. a special control tower would be needed that declares sovereignty in the system. It acts like a regular small tower, except the powergrid and cpu are much worse and it requires 5-10 times as much fuel as a small POS. Once one of these towers is placed regular sovereignty structures can be placed in the system (excluding jump bridges and supercap construction). Any upkeep costs that are isk are replaced with PI, gas products, or ice products. And stations can be placed, however there's a limit of 1 per constellation.

These wormhole systems also have grav sites with ice in them, along with asteroid belts that spawn sleeper rats. These special sleeper rats give small amounts of PI, gas, or ice products but are much harder than regular sleepers. This means there's also a chance they have ecm, target dampening, and warp scrambling.

And last but not least, cynosural fields can be used in these sytems. However supercarriers, rorquals, and titans cannot jump into these systems.

please add suggestions! i just have a crazy idea and i hope that this can get some support!

This is where I stopped reading.

You think it hasn't been suggested before?

WH space was not meant for permanent colonization. Nor was it meant to have sov. You want sov? Go fight for it in 0.0.

there's no strategy in null, whoever has the most supercaps wins which isnt fun.

1. There is plenty of strategy in null, stop believing everything you hear.
2. Supercaps online is about to get a huge nerf, so again, stop commenting on things you clearly have no personal knowledge about.

ive lived in null before, and without having a couple dozen titans there's no way you can hold sov. and the strategy is watered down, there's no limits on the ships you can bring and it all boils down to who's richer.

the supercap nerf wont do crap, people are just gonna build more and keep hotdropping like before.

Honestly, i have 2 questions

1. Why do you want sov? Cynos can't be used in WH which makes cyno generators jammers and JB's are useless and you don't like supercaps... You want endless sleeper anomalies so you can rake in trillions with no fear of retaliation? About as fair and balanced as fox news.
2. Why post about stuff you clearly know nothing about... Just the logoff mechanic change alone is going to vastly change how 0.0 warfare works, trust me.

And yes the quote above is where I too lost interest in what you have to say because now you're just taking your opinion and stating it as fact
