Hello,

I have another pilot that has decent amount of skills. Here is my problem, it's not cap stable. Even with my skills over 1 mill. Is there a website that I can load the ship i want to fly with a certain fit, and it tells me what skills i need in order for it to be cap stable?

Thank you for your time.

When you look at support programs, load up Evemon as well. It is a skill planner and is one of the most used tools for EVE.

Two things to note:

First, 1 million isn't very many skill points. It will take time to make your ships really shine. I don't mean to put you down with this at all, it's just a statement of fact. Stick with it and you'll be flying your dream boat soon. For better cap, you'll want to train up skills like Energy Management and Controlled Bursts. Here is a good list:

Second, Cap stability is really overrated. If you learn this early on, you will have much more success later. Making something cap stable often means allocating a lot of potential tank/damage to capacitor mods, making your ship weaker. This took me forever to get past, but once you realize that stability isn't a requirement (Unless you're in a passive tanked hybrid-turret ship, but that just shouldn't happen), you can start to milk ships for their true potential.

As stated previously, EFT is an excellent tool for planning your fits. I use it for almost everything I fly to avoid dumping money into a failing experiment.

This, it's a sure fire way to gimp your fits, but many still fall into the trap and have trouble escaping it.
