I made abaddons (other stuff too, but 'baddons were the big ticket item). Realistically, I was probably making about 275-350m/day sustained between the 'baddons and the other stuff. 600m would've probably just meant adding another battleship line to what I was selling (Rokh maybe). I honestly never looked at "daily" income/profit, since the real ticket was "can I afford to blow stuff up this weekend?"

started with selling 10/week, so ~4 days of waiting on mins, then 24h to build, then haul to market. Most of the profit was due to inter-region trade ... mins were slightly less in the building region.

anyway, selling at 170m or so, at 10% profit meant that I was making ABOUT 20m/ship. That extra 200m meant 1 more ship. Instead of building 11 right away, I held onto 1 ship worth of minerals, and did this for the next 10 weeks (give or take, profits fluctuated obviously).

After those 10 weeks, instead of 1 run/week, I was doing two (or 1 run every 3-3.5 days, instead of 7). After a few weeks of this (probably another 10), got to the point where I was doing 15 on each of those 3-day runs... and then 20 (though somewhere between 30 and 35 per week seemed about my max sales potential -- or 600m ISK/wk on that one item).

NOW, fast forward a bit to when the drone poo was removed. I had the good fortune to have 30 or 40 'baddons sitting waiting to be sold when their price jumped to 250m practically overnight, the mins for which were bought when a 150-155m build cost was normal (and selling for 175 or so).

Set 30 them up in Jita at 245 (because seriously, 70m/boat is damn good) ... 20 of them sold in 18 hours, the other 10 took another day. 5 went to a buddy for ~200m, and the other 5 went to the corp as pew toys "just because".

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

[quote=Tiberius StarGazer]no, i'm confirming people who don't want to put the effort in, won't make 600m a day.
there's a difference you can make 600m a day, and you will make 600m a day.

there's nothing unrealistic about 600m/day.

And I'm saying that for 99% of people what play the game 600m/day IS unrealistic.

Unless you can tell me a 100% fool proof way of making 600m/day in highsec, I stand by my previous comment.

I happily make 500m a week by putting in 36 hours at least a week.

So how do you make 600m a day?

The funny thing is that the more casual players may stil stick 500m implants in their clone, get it popped, and then cry about the fact they have to buy new implants. Players impose this must have max training efficiency and must have max yield on themselves, while choosing to ignore the simple fact nowhere is 100% safe. I feel it's a trade off, I buy implants according to life expectancy instead of a desire to min/max my training speeds. An empty clone can be the norm, everything on top is a bonus you pay the price for.

confirming this is true.

1bn isk in a mammoth, managed to scoop 500m of loot but i'm a complete clutz and i got popped. c'est la vie.
still proves you *can* make 500m in a single "transaction" in high sec if you aren't useless like me.

Let me guess, Sol popped you? Roll

that would have been less embarrassing than me just being a complete ******.
no, i scooped the loot, but i was fumbling with my warp out and because you get suspect to every one when you scoop loot now it gave some people who had the same idea as us to pop me.

not a mistake i'll make again, mind you.
I must add something to this,
because i overlooked his post assuming not everybody can do this.

All you need for this is a mate in a properly fitted magnate with 1600m³ (awesome cargospace!)
and a rupture fitted with shields, an invul, artillery and damage mods.
Overheating helps too.

Oh and one more: Don't, like all the noobs, just sit at a gate waiting for a target.
Roaming around is much more fun. :)
