Duality online with first round of Odyssey balancing!

Greetings! We've got the Duality server running with some of our ship and module balancing for Odyssey now, for your testing enjoyment! We'll be leaving it accessible over the weekend so you will all have something to do between kills/deaths in Jita.

Information on how to connect to Duality can be found here.

On Duality right now we have:

  • Tech One Frigate Polish Tweaks

  • Tech One Cruiser Polish Tweaks

  • Module changes to Tracking Enhancers and Remote Sensor Boosters

  • Rebalanced Tech One Battleships - Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar

  • Rebalanced Navy Frigates

  • Rebalanced Navy Cruisers

  • This build does not have the proposed changes to Attack Battlecruisers, Cruise Missiles and Energy Turrets, does not have the Navy Battlecruisers, and the only ships with adjusted resistance bonuses are the Rokh and Abaddon. Those changes will be added in a future build for feedback and testing.

    We'll be watching this thread but you should consider the linked threads above to be the main venue for feedback on these changes, as those will be the main areas our developers go looking for feedback.

    And some general information about Duality:

    The current code is quite old and there are several known issues. Please do not write bugreports about them, but feel free to mention them in this thread here (but check, if they were already mentioned by anybody else).

    Known issues:

    • Warping to warp disruption bubbles is broken
    • Warping to hostile POS is broken (warping at range might work)
    • Some localization messages are missing
    • Some capital ships have wrong graphical assets

    Not on this build, added both Cruise and large Lasers to the list of stuff not in this build in the OP.

    No, this work is not yet finished.

    Is everyone there free to buy whatever they want? Because testing stuff is rather **** when all the pro test server pvpers are there with carriers and vindicators.

    Should have the normal test serving seeding with very low prices for everything and a non cap test system.
