Dunno, go Dragoon... rockets or lights, plus a healthy dose of small T2 drones... Probably work fine for high sec L2's. Beyond that might check out Gila and Prophecy for limited missile capability but good drone coverage, or get up to faction/pirate like Gila or 'snake. I love the Worm, but it doesn't sound like what you're after.

What tengu is 1 billion got mine over a year ago and all t2 fit was 445 million and fromwatching the videosbefore hand was totally worth it... i dont mind spending money on a known entity but couldnt find anything on a drone missile boat... plus want a cheap option for time you want to just have fun and possibly lose said ship...i wont take tengu in pvp yet nor would i take rattlesnake or gila... before i heard about those amarr ships what other optionwas there for a cheap missile drone boat to just have fun in.... typing on cell phone fingers too big for keys sorry for bad spelling and such that i know got through

I will mpst likely try fittimg out a dragoon first attempt to try some pvp in it

I think both the new scorpion and the new typhoon should have enough bandwidth to support a 5 drone flight of heavies or sentries. That way every race would have at least one true drone boat. And they would both be missile drone boats.

Currently the Typhoon does, but it is getting nerfed to hell in the Odyssey expansion. Sure it is getting a decent boost to its tank. But it is a tier 1, we knew that was coming. the 6th launcher slot was nice but not really needed. but many player like mt self used it as a drone boat. With 4-5 800mm ac's, 3-4 torpedoes and 5 heavy drones, you could do over 1400 DPS. If this ship is supposed to be brought up on par with the tier 3 battleship, why is its DPS getting nerfed? It was not over powered, it was not that commonly used.

I could not care less about the boost to the tank. Gank is better than tank, and the reason I fly a typhoon to begin with. Even with AC's, T2 cruise, and sentries can hit 1000 DPS shield tanked. Now it is going to be down around 750-800 DPS like the Raven.

The typhoon is losing DPS from a lost high slot, and losing more DPS from a -25 to bandwidth. And all its getting is a a small boost to its tank and capacitor. In ever had issues with its tank and capacitor. Now it will be over tanked and under gunned compared to what we currently have.

And the scorpion is stuck in an even tighter ECM role. Why does no other race have an ECM battleship? because ECM sucks, a falcon or blackbird can do a better job than the scorpion. But it has crap tank and crap DPS, It will be completely useless. Make it a drone boat.
