Blatant ant-Goon Bias by CCP

Anyone else find it suspicious that CCP bans a bunch people using APHack, used by many freighter pilots, the day before Burn Jita starts?

Actually CCP just hurt the BURN JITA campaign by doing this.

Now there will be less freighters for us to blow up.

So, if CCP was bias towards the Goons then they would have waited until after BURN JITA to do this.

BTW, APHACK is a illegal program that gives a player an unfair advantage. They should be banned for using it. :P

No... not surprised at all.

We knew this was coming, with all the debate about 3rd party "apps" over the last year or so.

And, it's not the first time CCP has used the high profile of FANFEST to bring more attention to it's actions -- they banned alot of accounts a couple of years ago during a Fanfest... botters, I think. CCP Screegs (sp) was the trigger man then, IIRC.

Makes perfect sense to me. APHack gives people an unfair advantage outside of the rules of the game. I'd be more surprised if CCP didn't ban them.

I am just posting because i like a good conspiracy theory and hope to read something with more "umph." Maybe EVE is a training simulation for future space warriors created by our reptillian overlords that reveal themselves with slitted eyes in slow mo videos or still photos... Cool?

And if you don't have the balls to fly a freighter manually then you shouldn't fly it (imo) anyway.

Nah, a more common problem when flying a freighter is rather related to the size of the pilots bladder.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
