Why so dark all of a sudden? And whats with this blinking?

Title says it all. The ships keep getting darker, eventually they will be nearly invisible while in space (especially so in the colorless caldari space)

Or maybe this is their ploy...to get all of the hulls soo dark that when they come out with micro transactions for the ship skins, ppl will give nearly anything just to be able to see their ships again? (just hazarding a guess here, but it falls within the realm of possible with CCP's attitude lately)

And which one of you Dev's loaded up your test client, coded and saw this incessant blinking and thought, "yeah, this looks good."

Cool to hear EVE gets darker again! Cool

I for one didn't like the latest increase of brightness everywhere (in stations, in space). It's awesome when the silhouette of a ship partly merges with the background. That way all kind of effects are far more vibrant as well.

Space is dark.

The blinking is a bug.

Yes, I approve of this change as well. Once the new lighting model is applied, things will look even better. Smile
