So, did RvB ever smoke check this guy's POS or what?

Now this makes more since from what I know of RVB, here is what I would do if I was running RVB. I would start The RVB POS Program with a action invoice sent to the owner of a POS the minute a WD is called for. In this you offer your RVB service's to either Defend or Attack in your POS Attacker, and of course the Defender has to agree to this and pay the defense fee. If the Target does not pay then the opposing force that initiated this contract is fallowed through

Now of course you have to tell the attacker that is putting up the isk that is also your policy to offer a defensive fleet by either Red or Blue if the POS onwner accepts and makes a choice. Now of course there has to be rules like equal numbers of attackers V defenders. Hey you can figure that out yourself I'm sure. I'm just pointing out how to be neutral as RVB is look at by most of EVE, but yet still do things like this with out the negativity to it in the eye of EVE players.

This is a great Idea as you can make isk to destroy as well as isk to defend your targets. This is also what you are all about a equal and fair fight. now if the POS defender decides not to pay then you just take it out and when they complain you present this as your policy and no one can complain.

Hmmm, let me get this straight.

The RvB small ship PvP action is no longer happening. You guys are no longer in a perpetual wardec (probably due to the new mechanic and isk cost). Red and Blue have now joined forces and are selling themselves to the highest bidder to do high sec PoS bashing?

If so, then this is indeed a sad day for Eve.
