Search Lights on ships

Hey Guys, It would be really cool to have search lights on your ship like the moving lights on some of the Amarr Stations to get a closer look at a structure as you orbit at half impulse. To me this will give the player a great visual. You are more in touch with your ship. Would love to see it in the new oddessy expansion..

I agree from a aesthetic point of view.

But:
You (as your char) don´t use your eyes to look outside of the frontwindow while flying. Your eyes are the scanners of your ship(read: you´re an egged podpilot).

maybe some lower creatures still use their eyes?

The "lower creatures" are those non-podpilot-humans we use like ammo or nanite paste to keep our ship running (and dust free).
Also every sort of window would be a weakpoint to the ship. No matter if the ship got shielded or not.

I know, the captains quarter... sad enough.

i like the idea of making ships more "realistic", search lights are a good idea.

they should be 2nd to be implimented after corp/alliance logos :)
