got 5 in all of gunnery basically and 4 in all hybrid spec's rail/blast

i got way better shield skills and little armor, we need a navy ferox!

also you hybrid haters just gona hate cause i used them before they were even buffed!

Gallante gets the short end of the stick again. The only race that get navy BC from its tier 1 instead of tier 2.

Instead of a Myrm with full flight of sentries/heavies, Gallante gets a Brutix that suffers from the same slow blasterboat troubles that plagued the old Brutix. Almost the same speed as navy harby and drake, with the impending TE nerf looming, how is this thing going to get in medium blaster range? Would you spend big isk to fly this thing instead of the Talos?

NAVY BRUTIX!!!!!

Only downside is it's going to be way too expensive to use with the shield buffer setup that would make best use of the bonus swap. Which is sad, because otherwise it would be almost the perfect ship.

Raw speed isn't the only thing that matters. Take a look at the mass and agility numbers compared to the other BCs, and remember that MWD speed boost depends on mass. The Navy Brutix isn't going to be able to get into blaster range from 100km, but it's going to be fast and agile enough to run down the competition if you get a halfway decent warp-in.

Depends on how much ISK I have. The Talos is nice, but medium gun tracking is a big advantage outside of EFT theory-fights. The real competition though is going to be the standard Brutix and the T2 ships, especially once command ships get re-balanced.

Love the idea of a Navy Drake, can't believe you're SLOWING DOWN the SFI, and kinda weirdly excited about a buff to the Navy Exequror. That said, I think we need to have half of CSs to be remade visually to resemble another BC hull.

Hybrids are just so amazing that they do not need a Navy platform.

Choosing the races ships that specialize in missiles and then training only hybrids and not missiles was your mistake. Hybrids have gotten a lot better but they are not they best weapon in the game. At least not rails, blasters are very good now, rails still need a bit more love.

I expect the main reason they have not made a navy caldari gun boat for BC's or even battleships for that matter is because caldari gun boats are not really popular. Frigates and cruisers sure but even the Naga gets very little use compared to the Talos. I don't know why the Naga isn't used as a blaster platform like the Talos, although the Talos does have much better bonuses and a drone bay. The Naga bonuses are geared toward rails, and rails still suck. At least the big ones do.

Even in battleships the CNR and SNI are mainly missile boats, although they can be run with split weapon system you rarely see them used as such. Why is there no new Caldari Navy BC size gun boat ? For the same reason there is no Navy Rokh, because Caldari gun boats suck. Caldari are the missile race. Although that seems to be changing.

The Rokh is excellent. The Caldari gunboats that suck are the mediums, because medium hybrids are made of terrible.

I'd love the hell out of a Navy Rokh with an extra low or something.
