Some character pics not loading again.

So strangly and suddenly that old Mac problem of character portaits not loading is happening again for me. Anyone else getting this too?

They will load when I click on them, just some are not loading in local again.

Ditto. Same thing here.

imac 2008, JUST cleared cache and reinstalled. Worked ONCE. Then never again.

Tried re installing. Still doesn't work. Deleted all libraries, ran the repair tool. Deleted Common.ini.

NOTHING.

The character screen loads thusly:

The portraits on the left, the news on the right, and then, you never see the biomass buttons.

Nowadays it loads the portraits, but never the news.

Needless to say, I can't get in. Maybe this downtime will reset it.

Got it running.

Fresh install

then:

do all the resets. one after the other.

Then the game runs.

Or maybe it was the downtime.

I think we are talking about two different problems.

I can get in game and play just fine, what I'm getting is the character portraits for OTHER people are not loading in local and chat channels now. I just get the generic black and grey witness protection person outline. This used to be a problem that macs had a while ago that CCP had fixed but seems to have just come back for me somehow.

Well, okay.

All I know is, if I can't run the game, reset all the settings, and you can play... with all settings reset.

Still, at least I can update teh skill queue.

Yep, same here. Again. C'mon CCP - isn't it about time you 'fessed up that you messed up?
As well as having blanked out portraits, the game will not launch now unless I power down, fire up, power down fire up ad nauseum. Even then, when it does allow me to 'enter game', I get a jittery, super latent lagging version. Odd **** like modules not responding when you right or left click on them.
And right now, can't get past the page with my mugshots on and into the game. Getting heartily sick of this. Help pleae...

Still fulminating here...

Having reset ALL settings I can categorically tell you all what happens... Bugger all. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Sweet FA. Apart from now it's lost all the customizing I had spent ages on, trying to make my Eve experience better. Great tip whoever threw that one in. Not.

Seriously, I am gonna petition for a refund at this rate. I have two accounts and cannot get access to the game at all now. Client launches okay, but after that. FAIL!!! Cannot Enter Game. Still.

Can someone upstairs PLEASE do something about this.

In all honesty, I can't see the point in paying two monthly subscriptions and NOT be able to play, or when I can get into the game, it's running at such a sub standard quality, it is just not worth playing as it is not enjoyable. At all.

Whoever oversee's these forums, can we have an explanation as to why there are so many ongoing issues with the Mac version?

I'm not even able to get onto EVE for days. I filed petition and forum thread, and no reply or anything. It is like dev's have abandoned the Macintosh support of EVE.

Why should I have two accounts subscribed to EVE if I can't even get onto EVE?
