Now, are you too lazy to do this? Can you not activate that brain of yours and determine a new profit threshold? In truth, organized groups like the goons should support giving freighters reasonable fitting options... because a non-homogeneous line up of freighters created by fitting perturbations makes calculating the profitability threshold much more difficult to emulate. In other words.. it makes it so smart gankers have a wider array of acceptable targets than some random copycat corp.

Presuming we do this for a "profit". We do this for sustainability. There are politics in eve. Some people don't like us, and are overtly hostile to us. We set them red so we know who the loudest ones are.

And then we kill them as much as possible, wherever possible. If you have a problem with it, complain to your (this is open ended for anyone who is red) leadership making the policies and decisions that affect your day to day life. Pick another organization to play with that isn't hostile to our bloc.

And the Pubbie won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels. And the Pubbies will be sickened by us, and the Pubbies will talk about us, and the Pubbies will fear us. And when the Pubbies close their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. Sound good?

P.S. Thank you for the info that you gank people with bad standings in conjunction with letting me know we have such bad standings.. From my perspective, that's a good thing to know.

P.P.S. Agony's most known for our public PvP training courses... which generally end with a 50-70 pilot frigate or dessie fleet roaming through nullsec looking for a fight... Outside of that, we're also known for fielding wildcard AT teams... although the farthest we've made it is the octo-finals.

Myself and a few others run logistics for squad deployments in the far reaches of eve, and we also do highsec transit for any drops we scoop from ganks, which isn't that much really.

I believe you guys are specifically red for syndicate shenanigans, but I don't think it is because of space politics. I think it has much more to do with skirmish skill. I don't have any record of us ganking an Agony freighter, and I don't think we would gank an empty or low value agony freighter. It serves no political or meta objectives.

I would like to say one thing. This topic is a reflection on the game mechanics. I'm not against principilen gank mechanics.

- The second character with web is acceptable tactic, I know her
- Carry less - ok why not.

But the purpose of this discussion is to consider the features of this game mechanics, which clearly favors some and harms others. My opinion is that the press should be proportionate to risk. These (gank-pirate) people are safe.

I apologize for my English.

The gankers are guarenteed to loose their ships, how is this safe? The only reason its done is because people make it easy, profitable and fun. It is the harderst (and least profitable) it has ever been to kill freighters in highsec. It has ben nerfed repeatedly and it is very easy to avoid. If you die now it is no ones fault but your own so there is no reason for a change in game mechanics.

Aaaaactually they can Just warp off to the nearest safe point and eject their pods, then have someone scoop their hull minutes afterwards. This is why even 0.6 and 0.5 systems are freighter-ganking heavens.

Also, regarding ISK worth, I have been killed in my Fenrir carrying about 250Ms worth of courrier'd assembled ships. Twice. Thus leading me to never fly a freighter between Amarr and Jita ever again.

Evading Concord is an exploit. I would not try this suggestion.

Oh and killmails on your freighter kills would be nice, those kinds of kills are rare. That it has happened to you makes you either very unlucky or there is more to the claim.

Same for the OP, please list the kill. The character you are posting on shows no freighter kills that I can find.

Nevermind OP, found it.

Flying with a cargo worth over 3.5 billion was...well...not a smart move.

Example:

Security conscious null sec corps on massive logistic ops will give the freighters an escort fleet of some kind. Escort fleet protects the freighters at midpoints if neede be, the eventual low sec/high sec interface system and at least jump into empire to cover them when they jump in there to. Some basic scouting to free up the escorts to say jita and that is how moon goo gets from 0.0 to jita for some.

FA titan bridges freighters into lowsec and then follows it with an escort fleet. Seems a bit unoptimal, but from a content generation standpoint I suppose its at least a mix-up from shooting structures? *shrugs*

I'm just a lowsec scrub though so I really don't know much about how nullsec logistics work or the highsec ganking that Goons do.

also isn't it now impossible to warp off when you get a GCC

anyways unless you carting more then the ship is worth you dont get ganked. ever. if you gonna carry 2bil in a badger.... you gonna lose it lol if you carry more t hen around 1.5bil in a freighter BYE BYE and same for 4-5bil in a JF
