I don't get Nutella. It tastes like chocolate pudding but feels like peanut butter. What's the big deal?

I am one of those in the low 4% (give or take) of people that don´t enjoy chocolate, nuts, peanut butter and other derivatives. I find them greasy and odd tasting, and to top it off I come from a country that has some of the best chocolate in the world, Venezuela.

But I DO enjoy buying heaploads of Venezuelan chocolate and giving it to others, specially foreigners that usually say something like " Oh your chocolate is good, tastes like X brand from X ..." and I just smile. Big smile

But no, I don´t enjoy it that much. Someone once told me It had to do with certain chemical receptors some people don´t have, but, guess Im the unlucky one. Chocolate for me tastes like greasy chewy oil, unless it´s the chemically produced "chocolate" from some sweetstuffs from the us, that are not chocolate and taste somehow like it. Those are ok, not a real sweet tooth guy here.

Now salty stuff like Beef Jerky, man I love it. For me Beef Jerky > Chocolate.Lol
