CNR -

was used with 2 machs. It was set-up as an ewar / nano Burn Eden raven. Meaning it was just as fast as the machariels, doing 2k/sec. It also had a tp to help the machs hit. Unfortunately I was damped more than the machs 8(. It was also capable of doing 900 dps with t2 missiles at 130km. So it was a good fit, we just lost the damp war. 8(

Panther -

We had intel that PL and Rep were "talking" So in the back of our minds was a fear of the turtle tanks that both PLA and B teams showed the first weekend. What we wanted to do was bring a High dps team, which that team had nearly 5k dps. Also a team that was extremely fast. So we decided on the cyclones and panther. Now the panther specifically because of its ability to bump. The plan against the turtle was to bump a ship away from the rep turtle and pick them off that way 1 by 1. Unfortunately we ran into our own proteus set-up. Which unfortunately at close range like we started, is worst case scenario for us 8(.

Gf's to everyone and sorry to dissapoint. We had hoped to perform better, but I made a VERY bad warp in call, and it cost us. Sorry to everyone.

Are you out of your mind? Involving a third party in THE grudge-match...

Admittedly the setups were fairly poor Wild, I could see the one was a bad FC call, which is terribly unfortunate, but that's the kind of thing that gets to you in these tournament situations.

Hope you've learned a few things from this tournament and come back stronger in the next SCL!

Oh Dear Wildcat, do you even need an explanation for being awful.

A 3rd Mach would have been better in almost every way. A Mach has the layout to accommodate a target painter if required (bring a Vigil).

From where?

We never communicated with the PL team and our only official practice was actually with the RvB Alliance Tournament 2013 Team. Besides, there was never any danger of us being competent enough *or gay enough* to field somthing like that.

We wanted to beat you fair and square, which we did with little to no effort thanks to your bad calls and bad setups. Yeah I was pretty mad about Week 1, a lot of us were.. They were calling the match a grudge match for a reason.

2 PL teams? I know there is a great deal of pilot rotation between GHSC and PL for events like this, but does anyone really care about stuff like that on the test server..?

So instead of bringing shield Vindicators you brought a panther. Doing it right.

Actually this is kind of insulting. The proteus setup was one of the first we tested, and In-case you didn't notice, the Proteii were not exclusively blaster fit. I personally worked out the Reputation Cartel Proteus setup and to claim it as yours is untrue, a fallacy, a figment of you imagination. I doubt you possess the creativity required for that setup, primarily because: protip, its not about the Proteii.

However - GF. Hopefully we will see you in a couple of months time in the finals. I don't know how its being run yet but I've been told that all the teams that made it past the initial stages will be invited to compete in a grand-slam style tournament to end the series. May our rivalry continue and may there be many more great matches to come. Was a pleasure looting your wreck Twisted

There was only one PL team really , Gobbins's (and even it had waffles on it)

me and fafer both had our own ~divisive~ teams with both PL and non-PL pilots

We may see a turtle tank, let's take a Panther instead of banning the two possible logi ships.

I am not quite understanding all the hate here. I guess next time ill just let everyone wonder why we did what we did. The set-ups were fun and if they had worked you would be calling us geniuses instead of insulting us.

Anyways gfs to everyone we had a blast. My only regret was the final warp in. Had I not been an idiot and gone in at 30 instead of 0, we could have nuked that logi and then slowly beat the proteii. Oh well live and learn.

And one last thing, I called the proteus set-up ours because if I remember right..... We were one of the first to use a proteus heavy set-up as triumvirate in alliance tournaments of past. I mean no disrespect, rep cartel probably changed it alittle and make it unique. I just meant it as saying mimatar rush is pl's set-up since they were the first to use such composition.

Elise you can't ban 2 ships in hopes of ruining a setup that has more than 2 possibilities. The armor versions are just as good.

people are hatin cos your setups looked really bad - not saying they were bad, just that's the way it looks when you can't see the fittings / brainstorming behind it, doesn't help that you got owned either

Ah I was under the impression that for the Panther setup you guys were just unaware of the armor variant. I guess the question is, why didn't you take the armor variant?

Going to add my token gesture here.

The setups were brainstormed and used. Given they werent the :strongest: setups in hindsight but they had their uses.

Panther setup was interesting. Fast and some nice. Only reason we got dunked so badly was our warp in at 0.

Now our beloved CNR. would the 3rd mach have been better? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Our mistake there...was 2 maulus not 3 :)

Now just you wait for our Redeemer setup...that will make you all eat your words!!

Good fight all, once again fantastic setups from some teams, and a well run tourney which was great fun to watch

Rep cartel.....we'll see you next time mwahahahahaha
