Why would you play any competitive game, if not for ego? You compete because you want to be superior, and prove it however you can. Kinda the point of pvp, and competition in general. You know, fair fights are no fun to watch? They last forever and are determined by luck. Winners win because they have an advantage, which means its not fair.

Boredom will be the only thing that will stop us from suicide ganking ice miners. But the sight of you shedding an ocean of tears and rage on the forums/locals is what's encouraging us.

Ok, you play because you want to test your limits, show your mettle, etc.

But if your ego becomes so overbearing that it pushes you to seek to do only the nastiest things and to identify with the worst scum, then you are no longer playing, you are just another victim of narcissistic rage.

You don't 'get' Eve, apparently.

There is no rage, there is only giggles. Its not about what I am doing, its about what my victim is doing(and yes, when you spout tears you change yourself from opponent to victim)

There are fights, thats competition against those who chose to compete, but in Eve there are also ganks, which is competition against those who think that have found a way to not compete.

People who think they have found a way around the core mechanic of Eve have the tastiest tears, because they assume they won in advance, where anyone who actually is trying to compete makes no assumptions. Even gankers assume that their prey will get away and as such beat them sometimes.

And as for scamming someone over the price of an Aeon - I'm sorry, but when you enter into a third party transaction where the third party is in the same alliance as the second party, you're an idiot. If you thought that being on the CSM meant that suddenly the Mittani couldn't participate in standard EVE gameplay, you're an extra special kind of idiot and people should put statues of you in the Idiot Horl of Faem.

I find the open and honest discourse from the mittani refreshing. With his help and the help of countless others CCP may finally be starting to see this game is about conflict and so many of the things most people despise and fear and that's what makes it so wonderful at the end of the day.

I wonder if the creators of this game ever envisioned the day the lessons it taught it's players to succeed, the metagaming, the doing whatever it takes would become tangible and leak out into the real world to shape the future of the very game.

OP everything you complain about for the most part are what make EvE well... EvE...

i don't think all the goons need be removed from the CSM just the ones that have nothing to contribute, mitten seams like he knows what hes doing the other goons on the CSM tho? yea trolls that need to go.



im hoping for a reform of CSM rules like only 1 CSM member per alliance, or having set reps for diff parts of EvE

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Why on Earth would you remove him from the CSM?

I'm in an Industrial Corporation, but I really think that EVE would be come incredibly boring if people like him didn't have a voice on the council. After all, you can say what you want about the Goons but they keep things interesting for the rest of the community.

I, for one, agree that Mittens should be removed from CSM.

Then he will have more time to take care of alliance business, to kill miners and generally for finding new ways to make people suffer Twisted

Oh oh and we will also be free to troll and sabotage the activity on the next CSM, as much as we like. That cant be a bad thing, right?

I recommend one of your 3 votes go to a more moderate candidate. Just to temper the zeal with which mittens goes about his crusades for the good of Eve.

Maybe next CSM nullsec needs to endorse a moderate highsec candidate in addition to stacking our guys. The better to have a well working, balanced team, and keep people who scam highseccers for their votes from managing to get a free trip to iceland(I nearly voted D3, just cause jita scamming for votes is epic)
