So, first off, I know, I know, new toon, first post, all that.

Some of you may know me as Dethmourne Silvermane - I've recently sold that toon as I was mired in enough debt that it had become unmanageable and making the kind of cash required to pay it off was going to take a significant amount of time as I was feeling really burnt out with how EVE was going. I've now had a month to stop worrying and love the grind, and I'd like to work towards repurchasing him (a condition of the sale was that I could repurchase, and I know the buyer well outside of EVE), and so I'm looking for a little bit of debt (something much more manageable this time) to bootstrap my trading operations as my plan is to station trade my way to success. I'm currently running with a hundred mil seed money from a friend, and find that I'm making about 10%/day on that, but most of my profits are being rolled back into skillbooks to continue improving my trading. I have a reasonable expectation that I will be able to continue to make a decent percentage on a 1b market cap, and it's simultaneously a small enough debt that it shouldn't be able to spiral out of (easy) control the way the ~20b I previously held in public and private debts was.

I'll ask the new owner of Dethmourne to post here confirming that I am indeed who I say I am, and will attempt to provide any further proofs requested. I'm hoping to get the 1b in a single chunk, but I'm willing to split this into as small as 100m chunks if desired.

tl;dr

Collateral: no
Amount: 1b
Investment block amount: 100m
Duration: 1 month
Rate: 10%
Why: Bootstrap trading operation
Who: Dethmourne Silvermane on a new character

Did you realize you still have my Dreddit HR forum sig?

Considering you put him in NORK... lol.

2 notes that might be of value to potential investors:

Dethmourne sold his character after a failed attempt to refinance his debt on MD.

In addition to this loan request there is a TEST donation drive going on to equip Dethmourne with some starting capital.

(disclosure: as a TEST member I am heavily biased in this matter)

I actually just found out about this donation drive; I personally haven't been on TEST forums since I took my hiatus.

ED: And to be fair, the loan consolidation failing didn't directly cause the character sale, I just had taken on too much responsibility in and out of game and it combined to leave me in what was, in effect, a huge mental breakdown. In my "time off", I've spent a large portion of it resolving the out-of-game issues (and obviously as I'm not in TEST right now, I can't be part of their HR).

I'd also like to point out that one could argue note 1 is slightly in my favor - yes, I had clearly overstepped the bounds of what I could handle at that time with debt, but I was willing to go further than most, I think, to resolve the issue, since I literally pawned everything I had to settle things with my creditors (even though at the time I was reasonably certain I was unlikely to return to EVE) rather than default.
