Another drone question, Orca and sentry?

I think I already know the answer but here goes

Would two sentry drones (I think that's all it can control) be useful for an Orca that is supporting a mining op on a belt, or is a full flight of light or medium better?

Sorry, just hi-sec for now, maybe some 0.5 or lo in the future.

I saw that the sentries have higher dps and longer range but I don't know how they compare to the usual drones I carry. I suppose they wouldn't be great by themselves but with the drones from the barges maybe they would be useful?

I carry a flight of light, and ecm drones for your Orca. I guess it depends on what you are doing. Nothing you encounter belt mining in empire needs more than light drones. When it comes to anti-gank drones aren't going to help. Outside HS you are best off praying your ecm drones let you warp to safety.
