Psychotic Monk earned his place on my ballot.

Yeah, Monk's a great guy, flew with him on occasions. He's got my vote. And that's coming from a high sec industrialist.
( who wants to do more than high sec industry )

As industrialist, I fully endorse piracy, swashbuckling, suicide ganking, and general mayhem causing.
Without this, Eve really becomes a theme park, instead of a sandbox. The reason I'm playing Eve is BECAUSE of the sandbox, BECAUSE there's people out there who want to blow up everything and anybody in their way.

Why fly a blockade runner in low/null sec to move my goods, when I can do it in a freighter because there's no pirates around?
One of my more regular 'thrill seeking' amusements is to take said BR, and move my stuff from 'dangerous' locations to my home base in high security space. And I pride myself on my player skills on how to avoid and escape from gatecamps. it might not be a big flashy pew pew fight, but the thrill of outwitting/being better than said campers is there. And ofcourse the victory waving when I avoid their camp successfully to troll on them

I might personally not get much of a kick out of ruining people's days ( well, MOST of the time anyway.. ), but without them, things become boring and stale, and also means I'll be running out of business, as I tend to cater my industry to said portion of the Eve population.

Null sec powerblocks are voting with their massive numbers, in coordinated efforts. Thus making the chance for 'the little guy', be it a pirate or a more adventurous industrialist, to make it out there without getting steamrolled over by the powers that be, less and less. Stand up to the powerblocks, and vote against them.

Voted for Monk twice, more or less for the same reasons as Xearal.

The headvoices instructed me to vote for Monk.

Back on topic;

Monk was in my top 2.
I have never met the guy, never spoken with him, never flown in the same fleet.

But then I found his blog and many of his forum posts and I realized that a vote for Monk, isn't a vote for more high-sec terrorism, its a vote for someone who is undoubtedly intelligent, knows a huge part of the game inside-out and genuinely has some great ideas.
