Yeah yeah I know what you all must be thinking. Who gives two ***** about the CSM right? Well I agree (kinda). Either you are of the mindset that:

1. Your vote doesn't count.

2. The CSM is rigged.

3. The CSM doesn't do jack **** except go to Iceland for free.

4. Anyone will say anything to get elected.

5. The majority of the CSM doesn't represent me so why bother?

And if you aligned to any of these 5 points I'd probably fall in line right along with you. So why bother? Well simply because if you don't at least click a silly vote button and six months from now Eve becomes Hello Kitty Island Adventure.... well there you have it. See I don't mind people from various walks of Eve life from running.

You got the Bears, the Moon Goo Mobsters, Wormhole Explorer's League, Super Capital Collector's Club etc. Just about everyone in Eve is represented *cough*.... Well what about us? Who do you ask? Why the NASTY Hulk destroying, tear collecting, foul smelling, swashbuckling, eye patch wearing scoundrel's of the Seven Space Lanes that's who!

What about us? where's OUR say? What about combat? Small gang? Roams? Ganks? Thefts? Extortion's? Fights? Brawls? Anyone?

How about you Merc's (I'm looking at you Cannibal ) who's lives depend upon a sea of vast targets? What about us Pirates that depend upon content and activity to line our pockets with the frail and the weak? The foolish and the daring? What about us?

How about you Faction Warfare guys that are literally the blood of nearly ALL low sec driven combat? Who's gonna represent you? Some Moon Goo chucking yokel?

Eve Is SUPPOSED to be CHAOS! Not staged Titan blaps once a year or afk mining. Eve is combat! The thrill of a solo kill, a bit of shiny loot off a cocky bastard who bit off more than he could chew, a ransom, a hate mail THIS is Eve for us.

So who's most aligned to our malicious ways? Who here will speak up and maybe just maybe raise their hand and say "Hey! What about these guys?"

My vote was with James315 before he dropped out. And to be fair I never really paid much attention to the CSM except when I looked up who was in the running this year. And 98% of those people just want the same mind numbing redundancy. The same focus on how to grow more rich instead of making the UNIVERSE richer with content!


Eve to me has always been Freedom. It's why I'm a Pirate. I don't have to answer to some political squabble or power grab or deal with grinding SOV or hit F1 in a gaggle of Drakes or **** myself when some big shot stumbles upon comms. Eve is has and always should be about combat. About strife. And opportunity.

So who just might be willing to learn or have our ear? I'll quote Monk's own post when he entered the CSM running:

"I am a wardeccer, awoxer, thief, scammer, occasional suicide ganker and all around content maker. Alongside my corp, The Skunkworks, we have dissected pretty nearly every facet of highsec looking for ways to make engaging gameplay for ourselves and our friends."

Sounds about right doesn't it? I'll explain why I'm typing this little babble up at 5 am. because earlier yesterday not only is Monk the only CSM ever to answer my questions, he also did so with a private convo. Not only this, but he wanted to roam with Shadow Cartel to learn about Low Sec and Piracy.

He's going around to the various entities, griefers, Pirates, Mercs, etc and ASKING for input and to also learn from our perspective and how to improve content. Needless to say I was impressed. So Impressed that Monk was the only person I voted for.
I'm not saying it's going to be all sunshine and rainbows.

Nor am I saying Monk will keep promises (remember the old saying about trusting no one in Eve?) However if only for the gesture he made to at least be able to sit down and speak with us that (literally) have no voice on the CSM for that I say just click the damn vote button.

It takes a minute. Not even that. So if you crave miner tears, carebear tears, nullbear tears, hell ANY tears will do (just about) and have an insatiable hunger for small gang pvp, stealing, ransoms, hit lists, and hell even more miner tears..... then just click the damn vote button for him.

Because remember! For every PL CSM voted into office that means just one more Nyx dropped on your head

But yeah anyways vote for Obam.... I mean Psychotic Monk for CSM!
