EVE New Citizens Q&A

Whilst I don't PVE much, when I do drones are my primary damage source still. I lose the odd one here and there, but the bounty from ONE battleship rat replaces an Ogre 2 so it's no big deal.

I launch light drones or sentry drones from significant range to kill small ships (frigates, elite frigates and elite cruisers). Then I burn toward the remaining hostiles, dual web a target, and mince it with Ogre 2s, recalling any drone that hits 50% shields, waiting 5-8 seconds, then redeploying it.

In solo PVP, drones are incredible as a source of damage that doesn't struggle to hit hostiles that are close to you (unlike turrets), that can attack any resist hole you suspect or observe, and that uses no capacitor.


I strongly recommend ALL Gallente pilots train Drone Interfacing to 3 within their first month and to 4 within two months. (5 can wait)
