I hear Gallente militia general chat is good compared to the other 3 militias *shudder*

Sometimes - Caldari militia chat is hilarious.
You can troll it and get serious bites without even putting any effort in.

So many lolz can be had when you have the most players who have escaped from asylums in your faction.

I'll let anyone in, true story. Especially if they agree to follow chatgris around and whore on all his kills.

Confirming that we are very noob friendly. In fact, we've even recently taken in a few noobs ranked over 5000 on battleclinic with less than 50M SP that don't even have a dread yet.

^^
It's true - they let all our low sp alts in no problems. Cool

1. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Amarr_VS_Minmatar , http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Caldari_VS_Gallente
2. Like any other PvP in the game you can participate at any level as long as you have the desire
3. Healthy mix imo, however it really depends on where you live, what corp/alliance you are in, and how big your balls are.
4. Yes unless you have sufficient pvp experience to fly solo all the time. Public fleets are a rarity in FW

Greetings fellow EVE players,

I'm essentially a newbie miner/industrialist looking to get into PvP. While I understand PvP and piracy happen anywhere (especially low/null sec) I'm a little confused regarding factional warfare. I got a bunch of questions hopefully the more experienced Gallentians (sp?) will help me out with.

1) Are there specific areas where FW (for Gallente side) occurs? Like systems dedicated to this? Or is it all over the place?
2) How steep are the entry requirements? Do you need lots of tier 2 items to contribute?
3) Is it mostly fleet engagements or 1v1? Or a healthy mix?
4) Should I join a corp before going for FW? Or is it possible to "jump right in"?

Thanks in advance

Lots of great corps out there, the best wayto do it is join FDU get together with some gangs and find out for yourself which group you want to fly.

I would recommend HAMPD. You'll know why once you learn what the kealpano maneuver is. Big smile

It is actually. I haven't seen much of Amarr militia chat, but reading the Minmatar or Caldari one for a short while will make you seriously question the mental capacities of the average human.

Not sure if this has been linked yet, but here is a good Gallente FW guide from a few months back: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=185324&find=unread
That really helped me with my pvp in general. Very informative and helpful
