No vote, you lose whatever minority voice you might have had in the CSM's leverage. Not a lot perhaps, but a damn-sight more than other MMOs grant.

Like i said in my post the CSM isn't exactly going to revolutionise the game CCP will still roll out what they want its just a pretty way of making out that they listen :P

These days the game is more about getting subscriptions on the table, if that means dumbing down the game and making it safer then they will (and in several instaces have) roll out the changes they see fit

Will admit, so far this years elections have been rather tame.

Mind you I think CCP has underestimated the number of bloc candidates to normal people.

And while no vote is wasted, a lot of wasted votes from last year, were to set up a mandate so not really wasted anyway, as they were a deliberate show of strength.

And to keep in tune with this thread I voted once so far.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Whoever did that voting screen interface, I am impressed. That's some good web design there.

I put you second Stevie-san, after Ye Olde Treb ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Actually I was going to say kind of the opposite. I liked it the first time but I just did it on all my accounts and the randomisation made it as annoying as hell.

But without the randomisation I suppose it would mean donkey votes would actually mean something and this why it is just random noise.

Well voted.

Just in case you're not being sarcastic here, it's quite easy to do with jQuery (and a quick check reveals they're probably doing just that). The controls could have been laid out much better though, since dragging from the bottom of the list to the top of the page is pretty tedious on a laptop, for instance.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

The CSM has always been an advisory panel, it has never had veto power - Nor should it. It's purpose is to give the players a seat at the table, not to run the game or direct development. But having our elected representatives (however many gripes you have about the voting system, voices are being heard!) with direct access to the Dev team is something that is unique. And you ought to try and make your voice part of that input.
IMO, of course.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Didn't vote? Then you voted for NulBloc

Have not voted as the abstain option is missing, I guess I will be counted as a non-voter for the first time.
