you are right I solo level 3, but I am not that young of a pilot either.
When you are a young pilot you get together with other young pilots and do missions you can handle, once you get the skills trained and the experience you progress to more advanced missions, or exploration, or what ever suits your fancy.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Guristas/Caldari/Mordu NPC EWAR definitely needs some balancing though. It's player disruption is much more powerful than the other pirate NPC factions and is the only kind that forces you to give up mid slots to counter it.
Since the AI buff, Guristas ships cycle their jammers to keep you permajammed.

Only fair solution I can think of is to change their EWAR to target painting.
Please note that I'm not talking about Sleeper or Incursion jamming.

I can fly a battlecruiser now, level 3's are not a problem. Lvl 4 with me and a friendly logist? Too slow with battlecruiser dps. Lvl 4 with two battlecruisers? Tons of warpouts, cause NPCs target one ship at a time. Lvl 4 with me and a guy in battleship? Well, why he need me?

Besides we are offtoping now. Missions itself is not a big problem right now, they can wait. EWAR is the main problem.

Just wish there was a turret variant.


Ed: the actual issue with EWAR seems to be mission specific, which makes me think its bugged.

Some serp missions I can have 4+ damps and be at ~50% lock range. In another two damps is enough to see me at <25% range.

The closer PVE is to PVP the better, making it a zero thought, zero effort endeavour that is completely incomparable to real ship v ship shenanigans is a stupid idea. It's a boring grind enough as is, no reason to make it even worse.

id say the e-war is a bit strong in some missions. the serpentis blockade level 4 will damp a rattlers targeting range down to 14km's Cry

luckily this doesnt effect drone boats much, but it must be frustrating to turret and launcher ships that struggle to fit a sebo along side everything else.

running missions in fleets with a bit of discipline can be a lot faster though, and u can make more money than if the individuals were running solo.

if u run recruitment u can team players of similar levels together and encourage them to run any level mission together. get them in on TS, learning fleet functions, primaries and how to work together.

and i recommend to anyone, get a bunch of ur mates and run level 4's in T1 frigs. hilarious.

Although I have to concede Guristas jams are fuckin annoying. ECCM doesn't help that much.
