Just 4 words: remove NPC EWAR, goddammit!

Everyone will thank you for that. Leave EWAR for PvP like it is designed. You know it sucks in PvE, we know it sucks in PvE, God knows it sucks in PvE. So just remove it, make the God (and all of us) happy. It's so easy!

P.S. Warp scramblers are ok cause you actually can fight back this and it makes things interesting. Unlike all those jammers, target disruptors and target dampers.

P.P.S. You can leave target painters on NPCs too, lol Lol

Just one word: NO

And a few sentances as to why, eventually CCP wants to make PVE more like PVP meaning fewer ships higher bounties on those ships and the ships trying to flee from the mission area. If/when this happens then what will you do?

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I agree! Things shouldn't be hard!

I mean does CCP actually expect us carebears to try? I mean first they add these stupid wardecs so we might actually have to fight people (hoping from 1 man corp to 1 man corp is so hard!), and then they made it so we can't simply clear missions by sitting still with sentry drones!

I play this game for its pve content! Games like world of warcraft just don't do it for me because fighting even the most basic enemies requires to much thought! Who do they think we are?
Level four missions in high sec with my 3 billion isk raven navy issue offer the perfect level of difficulty as is. The level of engagement and tactics are great! Ive been humping the same level 4 agent in Ichoriya for years and I still get surprised by every mission!
Having to actually change my fit from time to time takes away from my experience! ILL UNSUB IF CCP DOESN'T DO THIS

If/when this happens CCP can uncomment this EWAR part of AI code.

Thank you, I almost fell on the floor from laughing. If this was not sarcasm from Commander Ted then I will eat my hat, or get counseling on humor. Very nicely done.

You'll just start bitching again.

Fit a sensor booster. Fit some ECCM. Fit your ship according to the threat you're likely to face.

Commander Ted's comment about griefing made me think, missions are the only non-PvP aspect of the game, sure there is ninja salvaging, but how could one make that PvP? And then it hit me, start scanning out mission runners, warp in a small fleet of ships Macs and cynabals with a few noctis and wipe out and salvage all ships and wrecks in the pockets. It would be hilarious even more so if there was a mission specific item that was wrapped up in the salvage.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

All you need is a single frigate to do that. I suicided to whore.

People ninja salvage for reasons of pvp all the time. If I do it I usually try to look up the mission and see what to loot to prevent progression.

In EVE Online PvE is just a tool to get ISK you need for PvP. It shouldn't be annoying and frustrating like it is now.

EWAR is designed for "fleet vs fleet" fights, not "fleet vs poor me" fights. It just doesn't work that way. Have you ever seen an MMO (or ANY other offline game) there regular mobs don't allow you attack themselves? That's how jam, track disruptors and track dampers work in PvE now. You know what? It's not fun.

Technically that is 8 words. "Remove Non-Player Character Electronic Warfare God Dammit".

If PvE was really just a "tool to get isk" then CCP would remove non-player-controlled ships from the game and introduce a lottery system where each character was gifted an amount of isk equal to their skill points * how long they were logged in * X where X can be scaled to the desired amount and random meta modules would appear in your hangar. And if that's all it was, really, then they would be better served by some derivation of this process. But that's not all PvE is for.

If you don't like the electronic warfare the NPCs are using, don't do PvE against those kind of NPCs: problem solved.

How come I can't make isk doing pvp?

So your saying eve should be "Do really really repetitive task for hours until your allowed to have fun"?

That doesn't sound very fun.

If i had it my way, id make it so that mining was like PI and you didn't even have to play to get ore. In order for your extractors to run you have to pvp. Same with missions.

Go back to WoW.

EvE is not every other MMO.
And as far as your fleet vs poor old you, that can be solved by *gasp* flying with a fleet your self.

Actually, no, it's not hard. Super Meat Boy is a hard game. EVE Online is just a bit complicated.

There are no fleet-friendly PvE activities for young pilots in EVE Online.

Of course no. Ideally there should be a lot of intresting missions with interesting objectives (not only "destroy them all", "destroy that outpost" or "loot an item" types), station and ship "dungeons" which you explore on foot, some random content to keep you interested, advanced NPC AI and much more. But it's not here now, so I'm working with what we have.

There is plenty, you can start by getting a small fleet together and running level 3 missions. they just made entry level remote rep ships, so that will help for those who do not have T2 tanking skills and 4~8 T1 fit cruisers should be more than enough DPS to do any level 3 mission.
Once you can do that fairly well you can take your fleet into level 4 missions and give them a whirl.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.
