Searching "People & Places" always returns 0 results

Looking for some help to solve this one. I already tried restarting and clearing my cache.

Whenever I search "People & Places", it always returns 0 results. I can search for my own character's name, and it won't return any results. It's set to:

-Search Type: Any
-Partial Terms
-String Search: "Ransu Asanari"

Returns 0 results. Any ideas? I tried going through my logs, but couldn't see anything.

This started to happen to me too, today. First time this has happened. Closing client and restarting does not solve the issue.

It doesn't matter WHAT I search for, ALWAYS return 0. This meant I can't send ISK, add new contacts, etc etc

It's happening to everyone at the moment from what we can see. I can't contract stuff to anyone.

Same problem with selecting station for placing buy orders, so not limited strictly to people & places or contracts.

Just tried to search through contracts. It never returns any result.

This is affecting map search as well. Can't even set desto to Jita without having previously linked it in a notepad.

Can't link directly in chat either.

OK well I'm glad it's not just me... thought it might have been something in my settings.

I've already submitted a bug report.

confirmed, not working for myself either just as OP stated.

Also, unable to hotlink people in chat! as in I type exact character name into chat, select all right click link character.

There is nothing that can be done from this side. We have tried everything today to get around this issue. I hope that the problem is resolved at downtime in a few hours. Until then I do not believe we have any hope of a fix.
