Speculation on Removed Local

As the removal of local chat has been announced (possible 1st of april fools joke, hopefully not Straight ), what market speculation can we make.

Of course mineral prices will rise significantly as the majority of mining and ratting bots outside of high sec make use of the local list. Mineral prices will rise alongside ice products which have also been a long standing favourite of the macro botters.

Local chat lists has also been responsible for the greatest stagnation in EVE with the ability for players to simply dock up when non blue ships enter system which was a massive deterrence to PVP. So ship losses across the board are going to go up as much more PVP occurs in all areas of space with the exclusion of WH which has always had no local.

This simple and long overdue fix will have a massive impact on EVE including the market.

Lets all hope that CCP has grown some balls and this is not a fools joke.

It is an april fools gag. Just like the one where Goons are now renting out space.

Ah it's an april fools :( and there I thought that CCP had grown some balls and decided to abandoned their strategy of milking every last $ out of eve before it dies by letting it rot as a world of war craft clone.

There's a reason they don't call it "Brewlar's Razor".

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

To be fair the themitanni.com articles are far better written that the majority of CCP dev blogs.
