I've been doing a little research and was wondering what the general consensus was on a good baseline for TE research. From what I can tell 10 is a good number to go with since diminishing returns don't really affect it badly at that level. Sort of a bang for your buck situation. Anyone else agree/disagree?

A lot of it depends on what you're researching.

Have a peek at the blueprint calculator on my site. you'll see the change to your isk/hr on it, as you adjust the level.

Woo! CSM XI!

So far, with perfect skills im actually at a loss of 15% overall, even accounting for the fact that I get all my stuff from places that have better prices then Jita for all applicable materials and blueprints.

Sometimes you win, most of the time you lose.

you should also keep in mind, Manufacturing some T2 goods does not acount for lost revenue from A many market slots used for T2 mats and T1 mats and the wasted industrial slots which could have bin used to manufacture profitable T1 goods, but instead manufacture components.

T2 invention is no simple matter, plan well if your in it for the profits and good luck if you just want to craft things (then its fun)

For time I tend to go for 20. Doesn't take that long for most bpos and reduces time waste to a negligible amount.

This should be in Science & Industry really.
