1. Halloween and Christmas would be celebrated in game each year by having each station in empire space hang decorations.

2. Players would be able to decorate in there favorite Christmas or Halloween outfits.

3. Each player would have a cute pet flying behind there ship.

4. Can tipping would be an offence punishable by account suspension.

5. Care bear servers would be set up allowing players to explore the universe of EVE without ever having to worry about being targeted by another player EVER!!!

6. If your ship gets destroyed you appear at the nearest station in a ghost pod that cant be targeted or seen, fly to your ship and your ship re-spawns with only minor damage to the hull.

7. New players get shield, hull and armor restored to full every 5 seconds for the first 3 months to ensure they don't die to easily.

8. Players invited to EVE by another player start off with 300,000,000 skill points and 2 billion isk.

9. Probe scanning only requires the necessary skills and probes to be launched, as soon as you click analyze all cosmic signature in the system appear at 100% regardless of probe placement and scan radius.

10. WE ALL GET TO BE PANDA BEARS!!!!!!!!!

I can get behind 1, 2, and 3.

The rest is just silly.

4. Scamming another player is a violation of the terms of service

5. When you set up a character you can choose a normal realm (no pvp unless you flag yourself for it, or enter a battleground) a pvp realm (there are three types of areas in the map, allied (you can attack enemy's and they cant attack you until you flag yourself by attacking) contested both sides can pvp at will, or enemy (they can attack you but you cant attack them until flagged). there are also rpg realms that require you to talk about only things in game. bottom line if you choose a normal realm you don't pvp unless you want to.

6. If you die you appear at a ghost in the graveyard run and find your body and re spawn with minor damage to your armor.

7. This is true for about the first 10 levels and gradually returns to a normal hit point and mana regen rate from level 10-20.

8. There was a deal offered during the Cataclysm expansion allowing new players invited by friends to start off at level 80.

9. A new system showing you where to find everything you needed in a quest was introduced during the wrath of the Lich King expansion.

10. In the newest expansion Mists of Pandora, panda bears became a playable race and where the entire driving force behind the expansion. If you don't believe me watch the trailer on you tube.

If the WoW devs took over Eve, I'd give them 3 weeks before they've been scammed, trolled or griefed out of their jobs by the players.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

pretty sure blizzard employ a 'game director' or something similar ... it's not the devs that decides what direction the game goes in ...

most of your itemized points are inane drivel.

I don't play wow because I don't like it's system & base mechanics.
It does have extremely good background lore though

All the bugs would get fixed

The expansions would be really massive (and expensive)

Their would be new capital ships released every 6 months

The game would be awesome

And really not worth playing after a short time when the shine wore off.

Then it would be taken over by pimply teenagers and their Elite playing style (Elite appears to be some code for, plays 16 hours a day and never having seen a naked woman(In real life))

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

For real. The things people find the time to literally waste and bother to do is just astonishing.

I agree. For instance, things like decorating for Christmas and Halloween in a video game.

Hey, it sounds fun. And it would only be done once a year. It's not like steamrolling all game time.

I don't remember any bugs in WoW but it was so long ago I played that. But I can't rember bugs that lasted years, or just ended up being called working as intendedLol

You mean UP by around 5-10,000 %, as The devs mainstream eve, and market it to a children's audience, where the mass appeal ruins the game that we enjoy, but brings in tons of subscribers, and even more revenue. We may not like WOW, but the devs have proven time and time again, that they know, with an MMORPG, how to make a massively successful product. I'm sure if A) CCP was willing to sell out, and watch their sandcastle be ruined, and B) Blizzard was willing to risk the venture, both parties would get VERY rich on it. The only people who would lose out, would be those of us who enjoy eve the way it is.

Sadly, we don't need any other company to take over EVE for that to happen....

The worrying thing is that if CCP continues on their current path this could happen to Eve without Blizzard's intervention.

I bet they would do a good job. Blizzard seems to have a great concept for group roles and making each player an important part of the group. I bet they would come up with some interesting ideas to de-emphasize the blob.

Actually WoW pvp is similar enough to Eve pvp. Interesting and tactical at small gang level, a blobby zergfest at larger scales. Just with more aoe damage.

Blizzard are really just riding on brand name success at the moment. They've had a lot of complaints about their more recent gaming developments, especially Diablo 3. I think an Eve Online takeover would be a SWG NGE/Tortanic level disaster.

Such a dumb thread. You hate WoW yet at the same time find any reason to talk about it.
