First they take away our picture posting and our bad taste forum sigs, now they take away our YouTube videos.

Eh, in a way it is weird with what, CCP usually encourages and hopes for in game. But oh well it also makes sense I suppose too.

My biggest one on this whole thing is with external sites coming under these forums rules does that now mean that if Poetic or Jester or the Mittani write an external review of EvE, can they now get banned from EvE-O for what they do out side of EvE's servers or events if someone links it?

Yes it is a stretch on what has happened but not that much of one.

I will admit talk about a slow election. I have never had a one on one conversation with anyone after the candidate application period has opened before.

Well, I think what CCP means, you can write whatever you want on other people's forums.(As long as you obey that forums rules.) But if you take what you written there then post it on the EVE forums, then they have the right to moderate that content and block it or erase it.

One could say Xenuria was obeying the Youtube rules with his video, but when he placed it on the EVE forums, that video had to obey EVE's rules.

Of course Xenuria was trying to defend himself with that video. So perhaps the erasing and banning is a bit hard because of that. Perhaps Falcon, just posting about CCP's position would be nice. But that could just be a simple world, and CCP felt they would compromise too much information if they did anything else then lock the thread down.

Yeah I should have said, give him his own technetium belt for him to leisurely afk mine.

Well if they change needing a POS to mine a moon, perhaps then ya it could be more common or other moon materials or so.

CCP did say they wanted to redistribute stuff, and it would be interesting to do that to some materials, as in it could spark more local or smaller fights over them. But with needing a POS and defending it. Will make it hard to really get anything going.

If they hand't messed up SP and how you move forward in the game, I would be looking forward to Odyssey since I like exploration and an expansion towards it would be cool.

As a wormhole dweller I love the idea of some POS fixes, but I am not really sure about what they are planning for scanning and am a bit worried about what they may do.

I mean a POS can serve as a base of operations, but you don't need a strong base for everything you do though. So its just becomes burdensome and annoying.

Especially with a theme of exploration, no one carries their home with them, when they explore. So it would be nice to have something you wouldn't mind sacrificing to move on, but also doesn't take a lot of ISK or setting it up. At least for extraction and collection or something.

Well exploration means you are moving around, not staying in one spot. Which helps to mitigate the threat. Of course living in a wormhole, POS can be the best choice because a base might be able to be set up and stuff like that and you don't explore or keep moving as much anymore.

I wouldn't say that the standard POS should be removed, just extra options added, for different play styles and uses.

You can live in your caravan, and I can come visit you for a bit in a tent, then move on afterwards. If I stayed longer, most likely I would be attacked and ruined or I would have to change to a standard POS or something.
