Lost trade items

So I was trading another character a bunch of stuff. I had some network issues, but the other guy saw and accepted the trade, neither of us have the items.

I have not been very active in years so I am not up on a lot of what might have changed. I tried asking on the help channel, that was a waste of time.

So when you trade items do they go somewhere other than ships and items?

I have had this happen before, like in 2005, so I am not really sure about it now. Back then the items came back after DT, hope that works now.

I filed a petition, but any help would be appreciated.

I've had this happen to me before, it should return after downtime, but yeah its best that you petition it.
