Lost in Eve Podcast hosts CSM 8 - Final election Debates

The CSM 8 pre-election process is nearing its finish and we're heading quickly into the 'final push' of the actual election between April 3rd – 17th, 2013. This is where the real politics begin! Big smile

There's been some excellent work done by other podcasts to spotlight the various candidates of the pre-election and I want to commend them on an excellent job to primer us all for what is shaping up to be a very interesting final election. Lost in Eve Podcast aims to host FULL debates for the final candidates.

The debate sessions will take place on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday April 7th, 2013. Each day has two reserved times with a maximum 4 participants each debate. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. If you miss out, you missed a golden opportunity to reach a pretty sizeable portion of EVE players. See below for latest updates on who is attending and when:

IMPORTANT: If you are running for CSM 8 and are wanting to take part in this event, you must EMAIL me (lostineve[at]gmail.com) and include your skype name AND preferred debate session in the same mail. Do not use evemail or reply to this thread. I will not answer them. This thread is only used for conversation, feedback, and / or for questions that people might want to have considered to be asked for the debates.

To be eligible to attend this event, you must have (or do) the following:

Requirements for the debates:
1. You must be announced for the final ballot and as such, are eligible for the final election
2. Must speak English (Yes, it continues to be even in New Eden, the global language of choice) Blink
3. Must use Skype (reliable connections preferred so no downloading of...entertainment during the debates)
4. Must have a well working microphone (crackling, feedback, and bumping noises suck....flatulation and eructation...that's up to you. P)

I will aim to push these out as fast as possible so you, the listener have a chance to hear these with enough time to be able to make your choice when the voting period begins.

Intentional because I'm in Finland (+7 to +10 hours ahead of the major US TZs) and also have limited time.

These times never stopped anyone from North America from joining during the last three CSM elections that I have hosted so I'd not be concerned.

Man, I would really love to be able to participate in these. Unfortunately, I'm US and have a work commitment both days during EUTZ, and I can't quite squeeze an hour and a half break in. Best of luck with them, and thanks for providing another venue for folks to get their ideas out.

I would like a slot on the show for Saturday, April 6th @ 20:45-22:15 EVE time. If this is already full, then I'm fine with the earlier slot. I cannot make the times on Sunday.

Debate #4 = likely full. Still have one slot if someone can confirm his/her time before progodlegend does

As mentioned, if debates #2 and #3 look to be locked up, I may open another debate or two to accommodate more people
