I have read everyones statements, checked char names/corps, only see 1 guy in FW, and he has not been active in FW at all. I can't find anyone with anything to say about FW, other than they've "done it". Am i missing something or is CSM8 going to be 0.0 and industry ?


FW is generating 1000-1500 kills per day, between the 4 factions, but seems to be very much just an afterthought in this candidate line-up.


FW pilots can still dock in enemy high sec (but not low sec if system is captured) - seems silly.
Plexes still borked - can sit there for 20 mins and fight off a dozen WT's only to get no LP when it's capped.
LP farmers wreck the dynamics of system capture chasing LP and switching sides.
Upgrade system with donated LP's to captured systems too vulnerable to loss - still.
Enemy factions Navy in high sec are next to useless unless you're an idiot.
Infrastructure hub bashing is a time-intensive grind for almost no reward. (the farmers soon take system back).


I'm sure others could add to this list until it stretches many pages, but my point is, who is going to look after FW for the thousands of active players, many of whom have been here since day 1 (almost 5 years ago) ?

Hate to say it, but it's on the FW community to figure out candidacy on their own. Sitting back and waiting for someone else to come along and take the reins is going to leave you empty handed more often than not.

Take a look at the WH community for an example - Two Step didn't run, so they planned their own primary (which they scrapped in light of the new voting system IIRC) and now have plenty of candidates. The FW community failing to do that is their own fault and nobody else's.

Of course there's also the possibility that the majority of the FW community doesn't care enough to bother, in which case there's not much to say but welp.
