Also, why not sell the hull + rigs to someone who still wants them as is, and spend the isk on the new combo?

I dunno about you but this ship overhaul isnt exactly a big thing they do every 6 months ALL THE TIME.

These big ship changes have been talked about since before Inferno (where it started) and will continue until all the ships have been parsed through.

Then after each major pass there will be a secondary, less drastic pass.

If you're so attached to the rigs then don't fit anything that hasn't been finalized yet. Don't fly any faction ships or any T2 ships or any battleships or larger.

Also "don't fly what you can't afford to lose" would apply here.

Well that's why the rule exists huh!?



Or make rigs interchangeable until CCP has their **** sorted...? Look if you guys don't see the validity in my post then maybe IL just HTFU.

Bro just so you don't get me wrong , I'm not complaining about losing ships or modules in Eve. I got that a few years ago when I started playing Eve , my gripe is with ....losing rigs due to CCP changing the attributes of ships. If this happened every now and again its fine . But its constant change for how many years now? The fall off and optimal change yesterday just got me going.

If this was Dust I could understand it , but ffs its been 10 years !!!!!

In a month or next year another Dev comes along , ummm you know what we gotta change this , oh wait that means we gotta change that and Im the guy throwing money at it...**** that.

If you can't afford to replace T2 rigs, start flying frigs. Or adapt and find a niche fitting that works with your rigs. It is true that eve is a sandbox and you can fit whatever you like. But it is also true, that EVERYTHING in game is property of CCP. If they want to change it, they can change it and have no reason whatsoever to reimburse you for your own decisions. You wanna fit t 2 rigs, get used to replacing them. It is known for well over 1 year now which ships will be changed, enough time to prepare and stop fitting t2 rigs. And tbh most of those ships needed rebalancing badly.

I agree bro FULLY !!!!! But you know what since Im a paying customer give me the courtesy to at least change rigs , due to CCP changing the rules not me . Now is that to much to ask ?

Problem with that is, that CCP would be flooded with petitions for all kinds of stuff everytime they change something.

e.g. Players purely skilled into droneboats asking for SP reimbursement for their now "useless SP" in drones :P (which is not true, we all know that)

Or station owners wanting their ISK back, bc POSes might be able to do whatever they built their outposts for when they look at them.

See those rigs as a needed sacrifice for having a lot of useful ships now. I mean, hell, Fozzie made me fly a Caracal!

In case you don't want to destroy them (depends on hull price i think): Just try to work around that, see it as a challenge and when you're done and came up with something that works enjoy that feeling when you beat the system Cool If the fit you came up with is still suboptimal: Try to get blown up ASAP and fit something that's optimized again :P

Camper 101 I appreciate your sentiment , I'm not asking for ISK I am asking CCP to make rigs interchangeable until they sorted ship re balancing and mods out....CHANGING OF GAME MECHANICS -- EVERY BODY WOULD BE RANTING AND RAVING IF CCP DIDNT HAVE THE POLICY " IF YOU CAN FLY IT TODAY YOU CAN FLY IT AFTER SHIP CHANGES POLICY.....just because rigs isnt a problem for you doesn't mean my complaint is not legitimate.
