Will freighters be given reimbursment with Odyssey?

They didn't exist at all in early 2003 - there was no concept of a medical/jump clone in-game then.

First time I got podded (for older players podded means pod-killed, unlike newer players who think it means your ship died) I lost about a week's training. That was around about June 2003 - so in my first month I lost 25% of the SP I had trained.

Wasn't happy about it at the time but TBH I think that's what has kept me going in Eve over the years - the idea that catastrophic loss is just around the corner if you don't pay attention to stuff, and even if you do then that guarantees nothing.

Getting a bit concerned that the game is getting a bit too warm'n'fuzzy these days right enough..... Sad


Hah, wow that is harsh. Although I must admit I am quite intrigued in how it would effect the gameplay of Eve is such a mechanic still existed now. Perhaps if you lost 5% of SP though and not 25%, certainly would be interesting. In a way I wish Eve was still like that.

CCP stated that if you can fly it now you still will be able to fly it after the expansion

derp derp i can not fly a freighter now so will i still not be able to fly one after the patch??

Sadly, there is no Reading Comprehension skill in the tree anywhere. I checked.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

No. If you can fly it now you can fly it after the change. Advanced Spaceship Command V is a requirement to inject the Freighter skill, not to fly the ship. Is it really that hard to understand?

This just in... those currently flying overpriced cargo in freighters will still be just as likely to be ganked and laughed at after the patch... or the laughing will get louder since, well, why not ? Roll
