Everyone knows about the larger C5/C6 null roaming corps (VoC/TRECI). But are there any smaller groups, perhaps with a lowsec static? I have toyed with the idea of using a C3 -> low, but if there are groupsout there doing it already would be much better to join up with someone than going alone.

The nice thing about a C3/low is you will find other holes connecting to the same system or the one next door very frequently. Between that, the low sec residents and the FW systems you connect to, it's not too hard to find someone to shoot at.

Then there's other WHs that connect to you as their static, wandering incoming and outgoing holes, and whatever connects to the hole(s) that happened to connect to the same K-space system(s) as you.

Though the pew pew we get usually revolves around small groups of 3-7 people.

Science and Trade Institute [STI] is an NPC entity and as such my views do not represent those of the entity or any of its members

What you want is a C2 with a static C2 and LS. It greatly increases the number of connections and targets. As well as making logistics somewhat easier as all C2s have HS/LS/NS static in addition to a wspace static.

Plus your c2 connection can give you access to other c2s with lowsecs or highsec to camp/kill at will.

Yeah as said, C2 with C2 and Low statics would be ideal choice for this, you could end up with some big chains and lots of opportunity if you look for it Smile

Oh and don't stop scanning at a K-Space exit, often i find multiple wh's in the Null, Low and High Exits systems Big smile

Thank you for replying some very useful stuff coming out..

But what I'm really looking for is to maybe compile list of the smaller guys.. Much like the sticky at the top but focusing more on the little guys making wspace work for them..

I can't really say whether we fall into this category or not. My corp enjoys the occasional WH deployment. I can definately vouch for the fun one can have in a C2 with lowsec static. You get less T3 traffic snooping your anoms and killing your haulers, and more 'fun' engagements coming out of lowsec. These C2's are a nice step-up from exploiting lowsec itself (pve, mining, PI) and at times you will have exits to systems bordering hisec. Combined with random incoming connections from hisec, even the logistics aren't that much of a problem, and many targets will present themselves for a little pew-pew.

The list of smaller / roaming WH corps is going to be crazy unmanageable at best. The nice thing about Chitsa's list is they they run the wormhole stats web page from it and it shows how the major players are doing. Right now, us little guys are just that and not terribly interesting to the Eve universe at large. And that is probably a good thing.

Yeah, there's a huge number of us little guys. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the recruitment forum, plenty of WH corps there. Browse their KBs and see what they are doing.

We started year ago in a C3>low and it was crazy fun, but the income potential there is a limit to growth. C2s with their dual statics are great, C2>C2+ls is probably the best pvp wormhole in EVE, if you are not interested in flying armor T3+guard+cap blobs all the time. Now we find a C5>C3 a decent balance of income potential and relaxed pew pew. Frequent lowsec access gives us possibilites to fly a more varied selection of ships than just wormholes, T1 small ships <3

If you're looking for good times in a semi-casual group who are sometimes terrible, sometimes awesome, not afraid of anything and roll around wherever we find targets, why not check us out. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=127191&find=unread
