Jita Park Speakers Corner

For years I have enjoyed the game through Eve News24 and have the honor of being part of what I call “fun multipliers” of the big EVE Online and offline experience. Today the time has come for me to step forward and serve as a bridge between the players and the developers in a effort to make EVE Online a better game for us all.

I won’t write walls of texts this time, I’ll just keep it simple:

Why I have decided to run for the CSM8:


- First and foremost I love EVE Online, DUST 514 and I want to see it improve.
- To bring a fresh and different face to the Council of Stellar Management.
- I have extensive experience interacting with the player base and deep understanding of the inner workings of the game and the interplayer relationship.
- I have an understanding of the internal culture within CCP Games which will be useful during my tenure.
- Whilst being just 28 years old, I have 14 years of professional experience in the design and creative field, which will translate to an out of the box approach to issues.
- I have no “pre-conceptions” of how the game should be played, I understand that there exist different type of plays which fits to different kind of players.
- I am in debt with those who believed in my platform last year and I wish to deliver.

About myself
A 28 years old creative / art director for an internet television portal for latin america, I also run a myriad of information related sites which include Eve News24 (the only english lang).

A few years ago I decided to bring the vision of a different offline experience to the rest of the EVE Online players, this effort has certainly paid off. There is so much I can do to enhance the player experience without having a more direct contact with CCP Games. In short, I have decided to run because I enjoy the game and believe I can work together with other delegates to make it better.

I think I will add you to my ballot of five.

I don't have an unnecessary hatred for the guy, just because he runs a news site that happens to be biased towards the CFC.

I can like the CFC and Riverini. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Given the amount of vitriol direct at Rivereini and his site by large parts of the EvE community I was genuinely surprised to see this post. I was not expecting to see him run for CSM.
From a personal perspective I could not endorse someone who lacks objectivity, from the articles I have read on EN24 he has a very subjective view of the political landscape of EvE. This does not bode well for a CSM candidate.

Riverini can you actually write for us in detail what you think is going well in the game, what needs fixing and in what priority.

Because frankly I have no idea what you stand for and I am to lazy to listen to a pod cast.

Would you please explain CCP's internal culture to me? I would find that to be very useful.

The first thing that needs implementing is a 'dropping da panties button'.

That's the only thing I remember from his last CSM candidacy.

Will the issues you bring up be as well researched as your EN24 articles?

Why? I mean why are you just bouncing into the vote stuff without announcement, are you a troll candidate?
