Actually it wouldn't be difficult at all (they only have the hit points of a cruiser after all), and in Jita the inevitable lag could easily cover the time necessary for the attack to actually show up for you.

It might also interfere with the generation of a kill report come to think of it (though unlikely). I know someone else asked, but just to be clear, you are checking the kill reports tab on your actual character sheet... with the drop down box set to "losses" right? Not your EvE mails.





Yes, I'm checking the logs under the character sheet. That was the first thing I did. I was not in Jita when this happened....

I watched it happened, I landed at 0 and it docked. The screen switched and I was in a pod. I undocked and nothing was outside, I went to the last location I was at and nothing was there.

Depending on your fit, 1-3 tornados would do the job. Oracles are very fragile.

It is possible you may have been alpha'd by someone due to being a suspect but with no mail and no KM posted by anyone else it does seem odd. Do keep us updated.

I do think that if your ship had been destroyed, you'd have found your pod outside. Are you sue you did not go away from the computer for around 10 seconds and got killed when docking and podded?
