New PC Bloodlines

The last time bloodlines were introduced to EVE was the expansion of the same name in 2006. With the removal of bloodline stat bonuses, I think it may be time to consider doing it again.

Several bloodlines have been mentioned in lore as already existing in their parent empires - why these are not playable I do not know. A newly discovered human offshoot would be very interesting as well, whether from a newly opened area or a backward world that had not yet stepped onto the galactic stage.

Mannars, Krusuals, and perhaps even Ammatars deserve to see play, don't you think?

What interesting ideas have I missed?

Indeed, I have long wondered why there are no Mannar Capsuleers, and there are (I believe) seven Minmatar tribes but only 3 bloodlines available.

Also there are Nefantars in both the Republic and the Empire (the Ammatar)

The Thukkers are nomadic by nature. In recent times they have adapted their nomadic life to the Great Wildlands region, and had not (thus far) been a part of the Republic. In the same way, the Nefantar as a tribe collaborated with the Amarr and sided with them during the revolution. In the last few months, talks have begun to bring the scattered tribes together again. Personally, I find it more compelling if the Tribes do reassociate - but also retain their loyalties & political stances.

Also, the Starkmanir tribe was shattered by the deaths of their elders and thus the loss of their tribal lore & secrets. It was a terrible blow, one that the Starkmanir struggle to come back from - but the tribe can never regain what has been lost. Perhaps they might petition to join the Federation? The Gallente & Minmatar have long been allies, and at one point the entire Matar race planned an exodus to Gallente space. Would be interesting to see the two brought closer by giving the Starkmanir a new opportunity for self-discovery.

The seven tribes are Brutor, Sebiestor & Vherokior (PC), Thukker (Space Gypsies with their own separate faction, Nefantar (Ammatar, the allies of the Amarr), Starkmanir & Krusual. Three of them have reasons why they are not normal, and getting to play them would be cool, but I understand why they are separate thus far. I have not been able to figure out why you cannot play a Krusual...

I am aware of the reasons those three tribes were not originally available, but the Starkmanir have been rescued from Amarr space, and some of the Nefantar have similarly fled to the Republic; That was a few years ago, so it would make sense to have a small trickle. Yes, the numbers are small, but there are some numbers of those tthree tribes in the republic.

CCP can start by adding a 4th bloodline at least. I have no idea what that would mean for the Caldari and Amarr (though as I have suggested, maybe the Ammatar for the latter), but it would allow for Manaar and Krusual

The other thing I wonder about is independents. As you say, most Thukkar do remain nomadic (though they have become a bit more amicable to the Republic), and there's Intaki both in the Gallente Federation and separate from them in the Syndicate.
