1. If I have a -5 or less standings with Serpentis will I be fired upon automatically in their space?

2. If my corp has a good standing with Serpentis and mine is -5 or less will I be able to do Serpentis missions based upon the corp standings?

Thanks,

1. Pirate NPC faction ships will always fire on capsuleers in space, regardless of your standings towards the faction in question. Sentry turrets on stations will not, however, unless your agress the station.

2. You can always access the level 1 agents. Your faction standing does need to exceed -2 in order to access higher-level agents loyal to the faction in question. I don't think that the corporation standing will assist you.

Answers to your questions:

1) No. That rule only applies to Empire (High Security Systems).

2) No. Agents only look at Players personal standings modified by Social skills.

At -2.00 or lower Faction standing, only level 1 agents will be available. It'll take some time to raise your Pirate Faction standings to access higher level agents.

This might help. Check out the section called 'Pirate Standings' in the 'Plan'.

If you decide to go that route, take a look at Substantia Nigra's thread.
