Really need a better term/image for Indys who fight.

I agree with this apart from the fact that you claim that it's always the younger generation that has this attitude. While this may be in the majority of cases, there are lots of mature gamers the same way.

My suggestion is that Hi-Sec isn't broken, it works fine, we'll it managed to introduce me to eve long enough for me to start venturing out of highsec, my point is that today's gaming noobs, the yoof, the younger generation are fed and suckled on the insta-gratification of modern day gaming which is why Eve has a hard time retaining new players.

What do I mean by this? I'm sure if we look at a demographic of players in Eve the majority of them are late 20's 30's and older. Or at least, that's the players I talk to day in and day out anyway. Yes there are a few younger players in their teens.

EVE Has always attracted a more mature player base, it's one of the reasons I play. Since the game was launched, teenagers have rarely had the patience and the emotional maturity to handle the risk/reward paradigm that lies at the core of EVE.

Someone else in this thread mentioned tiered increases to the amount sov costs based on the amount of systems owned. I tend to agree with this.

Terrible idea. Say hello to GSF1, GSF2, GSF3 etc.

The large power blocs who own enormous amounts of space just because they can is a little silly, in my opinion.

This isn't incorrect, however the problem isn't the amount of space they hold, the problem is how hard it is to take it away from them. The sov system sucks ass,a nd needs a complete overhaul into something which is less of a waterfall system, and more of a gradual system where 1 setback for the attacker doesn't reset all their progress that week.

Another problem is blob warfare but I honestly can't think of ways to change or reduce that. I for one have no desire to be part of a blob, let alone be victimized by one.

The reason you can't think of ways to change or reduce that is because it would break EVE's sandboxiness.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Seriously in my opinion the ENTIRE situation in Null-Sec right now is one of the Sovereignty Alliances OWN DOING.

This is all that really needs to be said for any past, present, and future nerf hi-sec/buff null thread. It's the simple truth, and everyone knows it. The spin doctors will be along any moment now to try and unravel this thread as they do all the others, but the fact remains.

Blame it on the sov grind. Blame it on RMT. Blame it on the big blue doughnut. Blame it on null bears filling CSM seats and eventually seats within CCP itself. Blame it on lack of industry/trade/pew/whatever. None of it matters. What it all comes down to in the end is it's the fault of the players that live there, specifically the big power blocks and their endless horde of yes men.

Funny how language on the forums is so tightly controlled or else I'd say more often how I love to take the **** of Eve players.

Colloquial word for urine evidently too naughty for Eves mature players...
