Vak A'tioth and Caldari Prime

Many cultures are often granted 'teachable moments' to illuminate errors in judgement and leadership.

In our recent past the Amarr suffered a great defeat to the Jove... compounded by opportunistic Federation meddling in arming , supplying, and inciting rebellion among our rightful property the Matari.

This was not the fault of the Jove, nor the Matari, nor the Federation; it was solely the fault of inept leadership leading to hundreds of years of navel-gazing, shattered psyche, and loss of proper purpose among many of the Amarr. Something the Amarr are just now clawing their way out of, despite the current deplorable situation in the Empire (another topic perhaps).

The State has recently suffered a great defeat to the Federation. Again this defeat was not the fault of the Federation, nor the brave combatants, but solely the fault of inept leadership. This deplorable situation for the State if left uncorrected I'm afraid will also lead to decades of Caldari navel-gazing, second guessing, and a loss of purpose.

Caldari would be wise to study Imperial mistakes, especially the mistakes after the loss at Vak A'tioth, in order to perhaps steer a brighter, swifter path back towards success.

The only way things in the State will get better is if they get rid of Heth. That must be step one.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

You seem to be quickly developing a habit of telling the Caldari how we should behave, respond, react and develop.

You may not have noticed, we're not overly fond of that.

I believe you are also not fond of losing territory and being hobbled by Federals in front of billions of onlookers while being led by a shell of a man. Re-evaluations are in order.

On second thought perhaps you are right, Mr. Khross. I think you people are only going to learn the hard way. Unfortunate.

What you believe is irrelevant. Re-evaluations may be in order, but that is for us to decide. I appreciate your attempt to be a solid ally and offer advice but you are crossing the line between acceptable counseling and patronizing.

I believe she is a Blood Raider, or close enough, so..."ally" might be taking it a bit far.

I'm interested in a Strong State for many reasons.

But as my sage advice seems unwanted, you all have fun with the whole thing.

Some lessons need be learned the hard way.

Ms. Vitalia, you're not Amarr anymore, you're a heretic. Don't act as if you are, what you're not: You're not one of the chosen. You turned away from God. You're the worst a human can be and and as un-Amarrian as it gets, a twisted being and a caricature of what the Lord intended you to be.

You are not Amarr, so don't speak as if you belong to us, the faithful servants of Lord God.

As to the Caldari reading her poisonous words, please keep in mind that she is a heretic and antithetic to what the Empire stands for.

Off topic, dear.

And I know many of you all better than you know yourselves. What lies in your heart and the will that burns so very brightly.

Ms. Vitalia, you're simply confirming our belief that you are arrogant and patronizing. Perhaps it may be best to stop before you reinforce this belief further yet.

Don't shoot the messenger, they do occasionally bring you something useful.

But as said earlier, I'll let it drop. Let's bury this whole little thread now.

And occasionally they bring you a bag full of rotten worms.

In which case the usual procedure regardless of culture is to wonder whether the messenger is insane, so ignorant they didn't notice, or are willfully spiting you.

One big difference is that the state can not only survive, but thrive with this. A harsh live breeds strong body and mind, filters out the weak. Reports are that the caldari have retained the surface. To the caldari, this is not a crushing blow, but a rally cry. That is for me who was there!

Now imagine the filtered news being fed the Caldari populous. I hardly think it is going to be tales of loss and woe. Just not our way.

My dear sir, if you think that we capsuleers and immortal soldiers can actually affect the flow of events, you are sadly deluded.

Looking back, the occupation was obvious folly through and though. There was no viable way we might've held the planet with a single small fleet in the long term, especially with it in the middle of foreign territory. At best, we might've hoped to inflict a great deal of destruction against the Federation alongside our inevitable own.

It, like Heth's instatement into power in the first place, was a ridiculous and opportunistic affair based on an illogical and emotionally driven decision at a national scale. An utter divorce from reality to achieve a shallow, quick-fix to a far deeper problem. One that has quite possibly persisted since the Caldari peoples pride was struck so many years ago in being made subservient and reliant upon the Gallente at the dawn of their shared interstellar civilization.

It is not a dream. It is a goal.
Goal, that we have to reach, and to reach it we have to act. Together. As one. As the State.
And when one starts to dream about goal without really acting, it is truly becomes only a dream.
We shouldn't allow it happen! We must remain strong with will and resolution!

So you want more death over this foolishness? Its because of people like you that I'm glad the titan is gone. One less gun in the sky.
