And it wouldn't be long before they started finding the bodies.

So who was buried in his garden? His fellow Gallente whom he conspired against? Caldari guards?

You will be assimilated...bunghole!

Dog lives. That's all that really matters. You kill off the dog and you go on the list, right above the Amarr.

This event and the lore surrounding it has definitely received my attention. It would be interesting to see a plethora of viewpoints and responses for the evolution of this story. Perhaps even the opportunity of seeing the horror of a Caldari mechanic or similar aboard the monolithic vessel as it fell from the skies, or a Minmatar sympathizer on the ground in another location.

This story has so much potential and I look forward to its continued development.

Interesting read, but that end feels unnatural, like a deus ex machina gratuitously shoehorned in. IMHO, a single line about the elder wandering the streets each night as a part of his daily habits would have sufficed to open that loop before closing it.

And what we can conclude ?

Instead of relocating gallente scum we should of nuked them from orbit Twisted

Be careful there, without Tibus Heth you're looking at New Caldari with more than just a few craters.

I had the impression it was the Gallente who were going to dig up his garden. The Caldari guards sending a message, so to speak.

Well, it was his neighbors who disappeared first. . .

Maybe he just wanted a larger garden?

The way I figure it, he's a serial killer. Who just stuffed the bodies in his garden. After all, he's Gallente... Blink

This one is pretty damn nice to the Caldari.

Woo! CSM XI!

Yeah me too, but then I read that the Gallente were lead away by the guards...they weren't killed just stunned.

I agree, the ending felt unnatural to me as well. I think some foreshadowing would have helped. Although, it does raise some interesting ideas on further reflection. Once you understand that the old man could be a serial killer, the actions taken by the community can be seen in a different light. Perhaps they were digging up the garden looking for evidence?

Ill read it over my lunch break but i have to ask is this going to be as biased against Caldari as ccp is? (i know its a gallente POV but still...)

I mean this isnt some in character rant or anything but seriously its kind of irritating seeing Caldari (and Amarr) get the short end of the stick on quite a few things.

still though i'll read it and hopefully it isnt too biased

Well its not like Caldari weren't winning the war for years. I mean they took back caldari prime and let luminaire in occupation.

The only reason they took back Caldari Prime was because a traitor leaked information on the Gallente security network, add that with 95% of the Caldari Navy and the odds were clearly on the State's side.

This battle showed that the Gallente Federation will not tolerate the Caldari intrusion any longer!

Glory to the Federation!

Now that was a damn fine story. Incidentally the deaths are alluded to if you read into it a bit more!

Sometimes "Meh" is an acceptable response.
