C5s vs C6

What are the main advantages to both, and the isk/hour running a decent fleet?

Do people aim for static C5/6 and run sites in there or is that too risky?

If it's only PVE you are interested in, perhaps best to stick to L4s.

Isk is the same in c5 and c6 if youre doing it right.

Perhaps this would have been more intimidating if it wasn't followed up by a question about site spawn rate.

My understanding is that the C6 anomalies get pushed around a lot more (they spawn more regularly) but that the PVP is much more active because there are so few of them and most of the people who have a C6 static roll it regularly to look for people to kill.

If you're looking to grind out ISK I'd suggest C3 (or c3 static) for 1-5 people, C4 (or c4 static) for 4-10 people, C5 (1,2,3, or 4 static) for 5-10 people, and a C5 static for 10-15 or more.

Well then ask "what static do I need to find Roime, C5 or C6?" and stop worrying about rats.

Answer is C5.

C6 have better respawn rates on the sites, the rats in C6 sites don't point, but the tradeoff is increased risk of people rolling into you while running sites.

the rats not pointing during PVE is news to me. Plenty of the sleepers warp scramble their targets. Same as in a C5.

I would say the OP's question is better answered with a question. How big/active is your corporation? and what Timezone are you?

If you are a US timezone corp C6s are considerably safer as the vast majority of roaming C6 entities are EU. If your corp is small and likely to only be fielding a fleet large enough to run capital escalations with little to no support/backup than C6 space is likely a deathtrap for you though. If your corporation is a good size than with rare exceptions someone rolling into you isnt the end of the world as a properly formed PVE fleet can be difficult to beat down without either bringing in your own cap fleet or having one logged off in your WH. ( before someone pounces im only saying a properly supported pve fleet of decent size is much harder than your standard russian 4 man farming operation).

If you are not a pvp oriented group than it is mostly a no brainer go C5s and hide amongst the other corporations. If you want to pvp and have a challenge move to C6s. having done the transition from C5-->C6 i can say there is no sizeable increase in the isk making.

True, to be specific none of the the triggers in initial waves point. So once you've cleared the first wave apart from the trigger you don't have to worry about points.

well since your corp is only 3 members I would advise class 5 space. the chances of people running into you is lower and the isk potential should be quite high. Although im not sure what youll do with 3 people.

Hey guys, I just came to these forums for advise from a closed community of people and I'm going to **** all over them after they give me my advise I want because I am too lazy to use Google.

That was an unnecessarily long sentence imo but I feel it captures the OP.
