Changing the interval makes the camera slower....

So If I ever use the handy function to track the camera for d-scanning... It takes a while for the camera to align on a target. On interval immediate It takes half a second or so to look at the selected target.

If I put it on something more normal like interval one (60 FPS), this feature takes something like 2-3 seconds to happen with greatly slows down how fast I can scan a system.

Why does this perform this way? Is there a fix?
