Um, actually, what you're doing is complaining that you're getting insults instead of respect, and then insulting people instead of treating them with respect. I'm a Lieutenant General of the Federal Defence Union. The equivalent rank in the State Protectorate is Strike Commander, which ranks one tier above Wing Commander, so technically I outrank you. I do not make a habit of demanding to be addressed by my rank as I feel the militia rank system is fairly meaningless - I've even told Synthetic Cultist, who practically insists on appending someone's military rank to their name (among other things), that she doesn't need to. However, if you even want the faintest, fleeting dream of me ever addressing you as "Commander," you will address me as "General."

As for respect, I do show respect. I have a nigh-unending supply of respect which I give freely to a vast number of individuals - many of them Caldari, in fact. Just, you know, not to you. It isn't a lie. There is almost no extant public communication in which you address anyone other than Tibus Heth without contempt, or at the very least dismissive apathy.
