Was the Yulai Convention established at the Yoiul Conference? I cannot seem to find an exact year, or any general information anywhere...

If anyone knows, please let me know.

(CCP, a "general description" article for the timeline on EVElopedia for this (Yulai Convention) would be really nice, especially since CONCORD references it all the time. If one exists, please link it to me because I cannot find it at all.)

Yoiul Conference happened in year 23236 or YC0.

But was the Yulai Convention part of that?

I don't think it's been explicitly made clear that the Yulai Convention was established during the Yoiul Conference. The establishment of warfare conventions is difficult and takes a long time, so it's likely that the convention talks may have begun during the Yoiul Conference, they were perhaps not fully determined, signed and ratified until a later date - in Yulai.

The Convention would basically be the joint law written to set in stone the things discussed at the Conference. Things that were decided at the Conference would thus have been repeated in the Convention, so some things are described as originating from both (the calendar, for example).

There still has to be a document for CONCORD to site from it, in which case there should be a date for when the original came to be, which might be when CONCORD was created, but from what I can tell, there is nothing "officially" noted.

Yes, Horatius' is a good explanation. And, obviously, in the world the Yulai Convention was signed on a specific date, though there may be no PF reports on the exact day it happened.

I just feel it should be on the timeline since it is referenced relatively often. Thank you guys though.

Sure, it would be nice to have, but is it really necessary?

Consider the Geneva, Hague and Vienna Conventions that govern much of international war and diplomacy today. Do you know what date those were signed? You may be able to tell me what they cover, what they determine, and under what context they were established, but can you tell me what date they were written? Who wrote them? Is it actually a relevant question?

In fact, determining what dates those were established is difficult, because they're not singular treaties. The Geneva Conventions were determined in 1864, 1906, 1929, and 1949; with additional protocols added in 1977 and 2005. The Hague Conventions were written in 1899 and 1907, with additions in 1925, 1972, and 1993. The Vienna Conventions were established in 1814, 1815, 1857, 1961, 1963, 1963, 1968, 1968, 1969, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1980, 1985, 1986, and 1988.

The Yulai Convention(s) are unlikely to be dissimilar. They would have been continuously revised and updated over the years, and that's probably the main focus of CONCORD Assembly sessions - bringing up situations which fall outside the definitions of existing conventions, and clearing up what CONCORD and the empires are authorized to do. It would be especially difficult to pin down a single date of origin for the Yulai Conventions if it officially enveloped Yoiul Conference treaties and prior agreements such as the Amarr-Gallente NAP, and Gallente recognition of the Minmatar Republic.

The most recent update to the Yulai Conventions was probably the Militia War Powers Act in YC110, which officially started the Empyrean Wars.

EDIT: The formation of CONCORD actually predates the Yoiul Conference by a few years, so it's even possible that the order is reversed - that the first Yulai Convention was agreed upon before the Conference.

The Yulai Convention is the treaty that established CONCORD, the Yoiul Conference happened three years later.
