Returning veteran noob looking for some corp advice

Good evening,

I have a strange request for advice in relation to a returning player who is looking for advice on what to do, where, with whom during what is likely to be a short stint back in game. I only play for a few months per year after the 3 years i played during beta and at release. I last played over 8-9 months ago, before the birth of my first child.

Now an opportunity has arisen, (wife and daughter heading out of town for a week), that will allow me uninterrupted playtime; something i find is critical in all MMO, and especially so in the harsh EvE environment.

To that end i would like to canvas anyone willing to offer some advice, on what can / should a returning noob-vet do in EvE with only 7 days to play? Should i even try to get in with a corp for a week ? (it is likely to be a week with at least 5 days of 35 hours of play.) I doubt a null sec / wormhole corp would allow someone in for such a short duration. I would think they would assume I was a spy. Would a high sec industrial corp allow someone in ?

My main toon is 70m SP jack of all trades - started as an indie char, but now has some decent pvp support skills in EW and Scouting. But no cap or strategic cruiser abilities.

Got a 35m SP leadership / hauler alt.

And a 15m sp miner alt.

I would like to get into a corp, help out, pay my own way, enjoy corp banter and chat, get to know the changes to the game and endeavour to not be a burden in any way, but an asset both as a toon and as a sociable polite pleasant player.

I could just solo, but I do not really have any great urge to make isk, or try an achieve some short term goal, as there really arnt that many for a vet in eve- everything is long term and i just dont have the time for that. So to get together with people and be anything from a miner, hauler, to a pvp bullet magnet, or god only knows what someone might have need of i would be more than willing to assist. I am not looking for isk, equipment, ships, or any reward - just want to be altruistic and help some people out and have some fun in the process.

Any advice anyone has in pursuit of this desire i have for the coming week is welcome.

History is the study of change.
