EW's about it. That and maybe AFKing stealthed in 0.0 to reap carebear miner tears. The primary support type, tackle, is VERY much front-line.

FW and 0.0 corps are the only people that really use EW-focused pilots. Everybody else will generally need you to be able to fly other things.

Go for it. Missiles, blasters, railguns, and passive shield are your primary race-specific tools.

Join a corp, basically any corp for nudge-style advice. The previously suggested starter path of "all tutorials" to "sisters of Eve epic arc" to "RvB/FW-scale PvP" is a good starting point, as far as finding a corp it's mostly a matter of keeping your ears open and not being afraid to fleet up with people.

Not only that, the 1 logi cruisers just had the ever-loving everything buffed out of them.

A T1 logi is ~20% the cost of a T2 logi, and about 60% as effective.

The ships to look for are armour - Exequor/Augoror - and shield - Scimitar/Basilisk.

The Exe and Scimitar are self-reliant, the Augoror and Basi work with cap chains, lending each other energy.
