I'm ProGodLegend, and I'd like to ask for your vote in this year's CSM election. You probably know me as the lead FC of Nulli Secunda, a major nullsec alliance. What you may not know is exactly what goes into that title.

I spend my time in EVE submerged in game mechanics. As a lead FC, I'm responsible for the creation and testing of new alliance fittings and fleet compositions, and that means that I spend hours every week theorycrafting new setups. I think and care deeply about all of EVE's game mechanics, and I intend to use that knowledge and skill to help guide CCP's development of the game.

There are a few major issues I want to address if elected to the CSM. Firstly, there is the issue of alliance income. Currently income comes primarily from moon mining; I want to press for change so that alliance income follows a bottom-up model, where income is generated by line members performing industrial activities, and it bubbles up to the alliance level. To do that, though, nullsec needs greater incentives for industrialists to want to move thier production out of the relative safety of hisec. There also need to be more resources worth pursuing, and a model for using those resources to further alliance projects.

Putting income generation in the hands of members also provides new opportunities for PVP content. Placing additional assets at risk means that roaming gangs and fleets have new targets to attack, targets which produce new opportunities for conflict. If those gangs could receive some reward for attacking these "farms and fields" targets, that would further incentivize PVP content in nullsec that has been very lacking of late.

Another issue I want to tackle is the amount of busywork that content creators (such as FCs, CEOs, logisticians and the like) have to do. For example, every time a fleet commander starts a fleet, we're constantly dealing with the cumbersome squad/wing system at the start of every fleet, which is repetetive, time-consuming and dull. Then there is the fact that outside of bonuses, broadcasts, and fleet warps, there are no other benefits to being part of a fleet. I'd like to be able to designate people in my fleet that won't get fleet warps, or cannot be warped to. I would like to be able to be more flexible with numbers in wings and fleet organization in general, so target splitting and other tactics can actually be done. Fleet fights in EVE are very vanilla because it is very difficult to organize anything other than a blob of ships that can press F1 on target broadcasts.

That's just one example of a place where UI improvements could make life easier for content creators. There are many others, in cases where third party programs are used - participation tracking is a good example. So is the sharing of intelligence information based on the output of local and the directional scanner.

I have a huge list of improvements and ideas that will shape EVE for the better and allow content creators to spend less time doing paperwork and more time making the exciting events of EVE happen. Please consider giving me your vote during this CSM election and make a positive difference for fun in EVE.

well, its been 22 hours, wheres OP?
LOL.

This is a placeholder, until OP is inevitably, after which i will edit it to reflect the more accurate position of OP being almost 48 hours late, and how he lied to us about his time frame and how that makes him a bad CSM candidate.

He passed all that hard work off to his subordinates. Let's help him win all the fights and give him all the fame.

Y'all got nothing on him anyway. I mean where were y'all in Katrina? Did you see the water rise every time the clouds came in? Did you watch people drown to death? Did you watch people die in the attics? Did you watch people lose all the possessions they worked for 80 years to build up? I didn't think so.

You know, we all live one life time in this world and if you look back in world history, there's only one or two revolutions every century. We only all get one or two chances to make a difference. That time is now.
